Unity in Diversity From Faith to Faith c. A Belief System 1. Content: Reality is basically indifferent to how sincerely we believe something. Sincerity and fervency must not supplant real content. 2. Strength: The degree to which you are convinced that a belief is true. 3. Centrality: The degree of which your belief plays in your worldview. The more central your belief is the more difficult to abandon or change. For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country. And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned. From Faith to Faith • Hebrews 11.16 “ but now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city” • It is about a “place” • Satan uses natural weapons, persecution, adversity, things that arise to steal your faith, kill your influence and destroy your purpose and destiny.
