Find out whether I am eligible to work while I study. Check my visa to see if I have
been granted conditions that allow me to work.

Collect together my qualication certicates, proof of training or internship,
professional or trade licences, academic transcripts, employment references etc.

Get some New Zealand cash to have on me when I arrive.

Get proof of credit status


Gather 3 month's bank statements, mortgage statements and/or utilities payment
receipts. Ask my bank for a credit reference letter

Open a New Zealand bank account


Open a New Zealand bank account and transfer some funds into it so that I have
money available as soon as I arrive in New Zealand.

Cancel redundant direct debits or standing orders in home
