The following graphs below will answer our ten (10) questions asked in Chapter 1.
Question #1: Graph 1 shows that in a sample of 30 students, 24 or 80% of them were
bullied, and 6 or 20% were not bullied.
Graph 1. The Number of Students Who Became Victims of Bullying
Question #2: As seen on Table 1, the average age at which a student experienced
bullying is 8.87 or 9 years old.
Question #3: Graph 2 indicates that the highest frequency of times bullied is twice in a
week, while four times in a week is the lowest frequency in a sample of
30 students.
Graph 2. Frequencies of Times a Victim Has Been Bullied
Question #4: Graph 3 shows that the place of bullying usually happens in school as
stated by 20 of the respondents. Three of the sample students said that
they have experienced bullying in a social gathering or event, and the
remaining 7 did not experience bullying at any place yet.
Graph 3. Rate of Occurrence of Places Where Bullying Happens
Question #5: Graph 4 shows that 56.67% of the sample experienced verbal assault,
23.33% did not experience being bullied, 10% of them were bullied
through threats and forceful acts, 6.67% were physically assaulted and the
remaining 3.33% were bullied online.
Graph 4. Frequencies of Types of Bullying Experienced By Victims
Question #6: Graph 5 displays that in a random sample of 30, 63.33% or 19 of them
have been a bully and 36.37% or 11 of them said they were never a bully.
Graph 5. Frequencies of Respondents Who Have Been a Bully
Question #7: Graph 6 displays that 19 of the 30 students didn't seek for help after
experiencing bullying and the remaining 11 students sought for help.
Graph 6. Number of Students Who Did and Did Not Seek for Help
Question #8: Graph 7 illustrates ages 5, 9 and 12 are the most prone to bullying next is
age 10 then ages 2, 3, 14 and 15 follows and ages 4, 6, 7, 11, 13, and 16
are the least prone to bullying experiences.
Graph 7. Ages of Victims of Bullying
Question #9: Based on Table 1, it shows that the middle value (median) of age at which
students experience bullying is at age 9.5 or 10.
Question #10: Graph 8 shows that female students are more prone to being a bullying
victim compared to male students. In this pie graph, it illustrates that
16.67% are males while the remaining 83.33% are females
Question #11:

STEP 4: Decision
Since tv = - 1.5 - 0.666, reject Ho.
STEP 5: Conclusion
Therefore, there is enough evidence to reject the claim that the average age at
which student or a person can experience bullying is 9 years old.
The sample mean is 8.87. Were comparing that against the claim mean of 9
years old. With the two-tailed probability value of 0.881, we see that the sample mean is
not significantly different from the claimed mean.
