Hoy da, la tecnologa forma parte fundamental de la sociedad. La ciencia y la

tecnologa nos proporciona gran variedad de opciones en cuanto a lo que
podra ser el futuro de las comunicaciones.

Las labores actuales en el campo de la tecnologa incluyen el desarrollo del

Tren Electromagntico Venezolano (TELMAGV), y la activacin del Simn Bolvar
I, el primer satlite venezolano, el cual fue lanzado en 2008, y con el que se
espera agilizar los servicios comunicacionales, e impulsar la telemedicina y la
educacin en el pas.
