Lisa is a 14-year old British girl who has created a blog about her last summer
holidays. Lets read what she wrote about her summer holidays:
SUMMER HOLIDAYS
Those two weeks were perfect! I flew to Mexico and it was really amazing. The weather
was gorgeous and the hotel was absolutely lovely. The staff was very welcoming and
helpful. I went there with my family. There was a mixture of people in the hotel big
groups of boys, couples, etc. Everyone was very friendly to each other.
Besides sunbathing and swimming at the wonderful beaches, we did lots of things there.
In fact, the entertainment team went out of their way to ensure everyone had a good
time and they really made the holiday for us. They managed to involve those who
wanted to be involved in the pool or hotel activities and left those who did not want to
take part alone. They ensured there was always some form of evening entertainment
with prizes and then organized brilliant nights out to the party zone in Cancun.
We did lots of new things in Mexico. We never saw the resident alligator but saw some
pictures of it taken by a couple who was staying there too. So it does exist! We did see
racoons and lizards and plenty of fish in the lagoon.
We found the food pretty good but a bit repetitive. It was always well cooked and
plentiful but quite basic rice, pasta or chicken. There was always soup and a salad bar
available at lunch and dinner as well but very few real Mexican dishes apart from the
tortilla soup which was good and spicy! The ice cream a la carte was really delicious.
What else can I say? I loved the summer holidays. I miss all that. Fly to Mexico. Its
worth it.
