Fun with Punctuation Make Sense of Writing

Lesson objectives:

At the end of the lesson, students will be able to:


1. Identify and name at least 4 out 5 punctuations correctly.
2. To sequenced at least 80% of the collage containing non-sequenced
dialogues with missing punctuations accurately.
3. Enhance the speaking and writing skills of the students.
4. Motivate the students to think creatively and innovatively.
5. Evaluate the level of mastery of the student on the lesson learnt.

Language Aspects:

English Language punctuation such as the capitalization, full stop,


comma, question mark and exclamation mark.

Teaching Aids:

Video clip, speakers, projector, Power Point slides, collage, Creative &
Innovative ICT Teaching Aid ( CIITA), A4 blank papers and
Worksheets

1. Teacher instructs the students to

Explanation:
Punctuation

Punctuation means making points.


Putting the right kind of points in
the right place to make sentences
meaningful. For instance capital
letters (A,B,C,.Z) is used for the
first letter of a sentence. The bird
is flying. Then, for proper nouns:
names of people, places, days of
the week. Lee Chong Wei, Kuala
Lumpur. Lastly for the pronoun
I. May I go out now?

5. Teacher may attempt to asks questions
