Brothers, Walter and Gary, decide to take a holiday to the big city of LA with Garys
girlfriend, of 10 years, Mary. However she is not too pleased to be having to share Garys
company with Walter on this trip. As Muppets fanatics they all decide to take a tour of the
studios, where Walter overhears plans for the studios to be drilled for oil by the evil oil
tycoon Tex Richman. The three them make it their mission to tell the Muppets and help
them to save the studios. Once they found Kermit and told him, they decided if the
Muppets put on one last show they might be able to save the studios. But first they had
to round up the whole Muppet cast from the lives they had been living since the Muppets
parted. The Muppets then set out to put together a show however things werent running
as smoothly as they did in the past. In addition, with all this time devoted to helping the
Muppets, Mary wasnt enjoying the romantic 10 year anniversary trip as much as shed
hoped. Will the Muppets save their studios and will Gary save his relationship with Mary?

Holly Boulevard was shut for two nights for the filming of the reprise
of Lifes a happy song
The actors who voiced the puppets wore blue suits in front of a
bluescreen so that they would not be seen in the final film.

The films budget was an estimated $45 million. Its overall box
office income was $160,971,922
