business around delivery of utility and gift items such as fresh flowers to

2005

Times Internet further got popular as a Business Super Brand in 2005 and 2006

2007

Times Internet launched the first multimedia marketing initiative for Bollywood
with the Oscar nominated movie, 'Lagaan'

2011

Times Internet won the contract for digital and mobile rights of the Indian
Premier League and created a new wave in live sports broadcast. We are still
associated with big events by way of online tie-ups with leading TV Shows.

Times Internet launched a TV channel on Mobile, with Times Now - the first of its
kind.

Launched Gaana.com, a premier music-streaming portal that rose to the


Number 1 spot within 3 months of its launch.

Initiated TLabs, a startup accelerator, to support and encourage innovation and


entrepreneurship in the country.

2012

BoxTV received worldwide acknowledgement due to inclusion of regional


movies, and tie ups with channels like National Geographic.

2013

Times Internet, in association with HDFC bank started a co-branded credit card
that offers discounts and benefits around lifestyle and entertainment.

Times Global Partners announced strategic partnership with Business Insider,


the online business news site. It is also tied up with Ziff Davis Inc. - the leading
digital Media Company in US to bring to India their popular portals - IGN, the
coolest gaming portal; Askmen, leading men's lifestyle content site and
Pursuitist.com, the leading luxury blog.

TimesCity acquired mobile app for Gawbl, a restaurant recommendation


platform. Also partnered with Mobikon, a customer engagement platform, to
enable Timescity users to book restaurant tables directly through the site.

Times Internet invested in Skift, a US based travel intelligence and information


media site, which offers news, insights, data, tools and services to the travel
industry.

Timespoints.com, a redemption portal was launched for its loyalty program. It


integrates TIL and TBSL properties.

2014

Economic Times launched B2B portals namely ETCIO, ETAuto and ETTelecom.

Gaana also launched its first 360 degree multi-media campaign 'Bas Bajna
Chahiye Gaana' on TV, outdoors, print, radio and digital after successful release
of musical composition. The campaign was a grand success.

Times Internet partnered with Star India for digital distribution rights of 2014
edition of IPL.

Launch of Times AdCenter, an advertising technology platform to help


advertisers buy inventory with audience targeting and programmatic buying

capabilities.

Funded a mobile-focused education marketplace Gradestack.

TimesCity.com acquired dineout.co.in and added restaurant reservation and


numerous other offers to its lifestyle & discovery platform.

Launched www.gocricket.com which

offered

live-streaming

Pepsi

IPL

matches, with exclusive coverage from Sourav Ganguly. Later, we acquired


majority stake in cricket news and information portal Cricbuzz.com.

Acquired a majority stake in Coupon Dunia, the largest couponing service in


India.

US based news and opinion website Huffington Post teamed up with the Times
group to launch its Indian edition.

Times Internet acquired online personal finance platform Moneysights. It will be


further developed inside Times Internet, led by co-founder Mukesh Kalra.

2015

Times Internet and Uber entered into a strategic partnership to support Uber's
expansion in India.

Perform Group's Goal.com partnered with Times Internet to drive India growth.
TIL will have exclusive rights to Goal brand in India and will drive local
commercialisation across desktop and mobile.

Ties up with Coursera.org to bring education programs in India with localized


content and build greater awareness
