GRAMMAR TOPIC: The Colors
CONTEXTUALIZE TOPIC: Identifying the colors in the classroom
AIMS
MAIN AIMS: To identify the colors
PERSONAL AIMS: At the end of the class the students will be able:
To recognize the different colors
To say the names of the colors
To teach the correct pronunciation of the colors
ANTICIPATED PROBLEMS

If the students will ask about how they can say other color in English language, the teacher will teach it in order to learn more.
If the students are not participating in the activities the teacher will motivate using games.
MATERIALS: Drawings, records, song, board, markers, scissors, adhesive tape, ruler, computer, speakers, video beam.

VOCABULARY: Red, purple, orange, green, blue, black, white, yellow, pink.

ACTIVITIES
The teacher will enter the classroom and greet the
students. Then she will call the attendance and she is
going to do a recycle activity to remember the previous
class.
After this previous activity, the teacher will put on the
board the title (the colors) made on a cardboard.
Then, the teacher is going to show them circles of
different colors and she the board and pronounce each
color and they have to repeat with her.
After, the teacher will give a circle of different color
paper to the student, she will start to ask them What color
is the circle, and they have to say the color and put it on
the board one by one. Therefore, she will write the name
of each color above. When everyone has put the circles,
she will erase the names of the color in order to ask them
to identify each.
The students will work on a worksheet following the
teacher instructions
The teacher will ask them where the colors are. Where
is the red color? So they have to look for them.
PRODUCTIVE PART.
The teacher will sound The Rainbow Colors Song in
order to participate actively and facilitate learning
students.
SKILLS
Listening: The students will listen to the teachers
explanation during the class. Also, they will listen to their
partners when they are saying de color. And they will
repeat.
Speaking: The students will pronounce the names of the
colors.

After the description, the teacher will ask some of students


to point out and pronounce the colors seen. The teacher
will give them a homework in a paper with a drawing for
coloring as it indicated.

Professor will make seven groups and she will give you a white sheet to each group. Then she will give several paper circles of
different colors and they will paste the color on the sheet that the teacher will say to them.
