professional environment, an opportunity to apply my knowledge gained. In

field.
Interpersonal Skills- Effective negotiators have the interpersonal skills to
maintain a good working relationship with those involved in the negotiation.
Negotiators with patience and the ability to persuade others without using
manipulation can maintain a positive atmosphere during a difficult negotiation.
Active Listening- Negotiators have the skills to listen actively to the other party
during the debate. Active listening involves the ability to read body language as
well as verbal communication. It is important to listen to the other party to find
areas for compromise during the meeting. Instead of spending the bulk of the
time in negotiation expounding the virtues of his viewpoint, the skilled
negotiator will spend more time listening to the other party.

from a variety of areas. This isnt surprising. There isnt one clear path to
product management. I started as an interaction designer / front-end web
developer. I know others who started in sales or marketing. And of course there
are those who go the MBA route.
2. Tell me about your role on your team, who else you work with, and how
you work with them.
There are no right or wrong answers here. It all depends on the role Im trying

value, where your strengths are, and whether or not you are the right person for
the role.
3. Tell me about how you interact with customers / users?
Now I want to dive into the details. Do you know how to find users or does
someone do that for you? I know that not all companies take advantage of user
research, not everyone has the luxury of usability testing studios, or time to do
in-depth user interviews. I get it. Im not expecting a perfect process. But I do
want to see that customer / user interaction is something that you value.
4. How long have you been in this position?
Ive been maintaining this position for the past eight years and I continue to
share my skills and knowledge for the company.
