A View from the Shepherd

Todays Gospel make us reflect upon two very important
questions: What do you want me to do for YOU? and,,,,, I
want to see! Try to imagine Jesus asking YOU that
question. What do you want ME to do for YOU? Do you have a
long list that he can accomplish for you? Are there many items on
your wish list? Yet, when we meet the Blind man, Batimaeus, all
he asks is to see. This blind man truly wants to see this miracle
man he has heard about. In are own lives, when we say I want to
see, we mean to understand, or in other words.SEEING IS
BELIEVING!!! Bartimaeus faith has saved him. Not riches, or
gold or famehe just wants to understand what the love of Jesus is
all about. His list was indeed very humbling to each of us.
I am often humbled by YOUR faith. I have witnessed your
suffering, your yearning, your wanting.and oh, how I wish I
could snap my fingers and solved your concerns. I always ask the
Lord that I may see with His eyes, love with His heart, act with His
compassion. Join with me every day as we privately and quietly
pray that our faith is a witness to those who are struggling and
hoping.
Reflect, as we draw closer to All Saints Day and All Souls Day,
that we may have THEIR strength of Faith, Hope and Love! Jesus
called them and USED them.pray that we might become worthy
followers and be fruitful in our actions. STOP this week as He calls
YOU, and questions..What do you want ME to do for YOU?

Live Jesus in Our Hearts, Forever!!
