World Christian Week

Missionary Dating Site?

CIU's annual World Christian Week focuses on

the Great Commission. Each year CIU spends
an entire week focusing on world missions and
what can be done to help.

CIU Professor Dr. Rhonda Pruitt ('86) was

recently featured in a thought provoking
Christianity Today article about the viability of a
missionary dating website. Rhonda spent 15
years as a single missionary and has done a
considerable amount of research regarding being
single on the mission field.

Three New Majors

Professor Dr. Terry Powell's new book

"Serve Strong: Biblical Encouragement to
Sustain God's Servants" is a powerful
resource that gives Biblically backed
encouragment to anyone who is engaged
in ministry as a volunteer or vocationally.
Dr. Robertson McQuilkin said, "I can't
remember reading a more powerful book
of encouragment for pastors, missionaries
and lay people."

CIU has just announced three exciting new

majors for students to choose from that
are designed to prepare for life, work and
ministry in a culturally diverse world. The
majors will be introduced in Fall 2014.
