Syrian conflict had been started on Dhara city at march 11 th 2011.
These conflict happen because of many factor. Such as, different ideology,
blind rule from Syrian president (bashar assad) who want to maintaining his
reign as long as he want. The last of three years, these conflict is not
subsiding yet until now. Many Syrian civilians are being victims because of
theirs own country. For example, they lose their right as a resident citizens to
get a peaceful life, for the young generation, the lose their hope to reach a
dream, sharing love with their family etc. Thats why, many of Syrian
civilians make a decision to flee from their country into the neighbor country
with one hope which want to get a new peace place of life. Unfortunately,
some of them didnt got treated like what they are expected. Some of
neighbor country didnt accept Syrian refugee because of the fear about ISIS
issue will give a effect with his country, criminalition because of minimum
wage that in their acceptance from government, etc. in the other hand, the
Syrian refugee who stay in camp refugee in some countries are get the same
bad condition. Such as human trafficking, young married for children, organ
sales, etc.
Afghanistan is country which multi-lateral cooperation and
international solidarity. We are as the same destiny with Syrian refugee, we
are open border for Syrian refugee to stay in our country, but today,
Afghanistan pursues the causes of peace and an end to violence as a matter
of great urgency. Peace being the most desire of the afghan people. Turning
to the international issues, Afghanistan views the situation in Syria with
much concern. For over three years now, the thousand of our Syrian brothers
and sisters have lost their lives due to increasing cycle of violence. As the
situation , Afghanistan further recommends that Syrian refugee to focus on
the demonstration peace and reconciliation process in the Syrian country.
As the first round of peace talk ended in February, Afghanistan is
disenchanted to see that neither side took the intiative to make firm
agreements. Furthermore, negotiation between Syrian government and the
opposition meet again as the second round. Afghanistan deeply hopes that
both sides can show more willingness in the peace process and reach a
common ground. lastly, Afghanistan promote both sides to remain their
conversation courtesies as it was shown that both side had been making a
deal trough the first round.

Afghanistan is fully aware that the human right refugee of Syria. Beside
of that, Afghanistan also recognizes that our country destiny is being refugee
with our conflict too. Thats why, we can not do much. We just suggest some
solution such as, the developed countries to open border for Syrian refugee
as a human respect. If there are a developed country which they dont want
help refugee, these country are required to help trough aid. Such as,
medicine, food, clothes or money. Second solution is make united of refugee
countries which ask proposal to world bank for helping to fund. And making
job placement for refugee when they are live in other countries. In order to
end the Syrian refugee problem, Afghanistan looks forward to discussing
other solutions with fellow delegate.
