1. With the straight blade, cut the following:

a. one 6” x 6” dark green cardstock
b. one 4 3/8” x 9 ½” white cardstock
2. With the scallop blade, cut the following:
a. one 4” x 4 ½” Core’dinations Vert
b. one 5 ¼” x 7 ¼” Core’dinations Vert
3. With Scoring Blade, and longer scallop cut piece, score a line 2” from short edge and another ¼” from
short edge.
4. To create the pocket, use the piece you just scored with the solid side facing up; fold along the 2”
scored line, then fold the ¼” scored line back so you have a narrow border of solid on the edge of
your pocket.
5. Using Gold thread, sew down the upper edge of the pocket. (Only 2 layers). Trim threads, pull to back
and add a dot of glue to hold them.
6. With pocket folded in place, center and glue this piece onto your 6” square solid.
7. Using Gold thread, sew around pocket piece about ¼” from outside edge. This seam will sew down
the side edges of the pocket and add a border on all 4 sides.
8. With the long white piece, score a line halfway between the two short ends to create the card.
9. Trace and cut the pieces for the shamrock: 3 hearts, 1 stem. Add some glitter glue to the edges of
each piece.
10. Score down the center of each heart.
11. Arrange stem and hearts on the printed side of the small scallop rectangle using the picture for
placement.
12. Glue down the stem and the center line of each heart.
13. Using the gold thread, sew down the center of each heart and the stem, trim threads and pull to the
back.
14. Using the tapestry needle, punch two small holes at the center of the shamrock. (use your button as a
guide for hole placement.)
15. Using 3 strands of gold thread and a tapestry needle, sew the button to the shamrock making a
square knot in front and leaving about 1” tails.
16. Center and glue the smaller scallop rectangle to the front of the white card.
17. Slide the white card into the pocket you made earlier.
