EXPERIENCE:
Islamabad Electric Supply Company - Pakistan: I started my Career as
Assistant Engineer Operation & Maintenance (10-01-2008 to till now), Design and Installation of Feeder,
up-gradation/modification of existing system including Review of Base design, Detail Design and As Built
Drawings. My responsibilities also include inspection of installation activities, erection of electrical
equipment, Testing and Commissioning of HV/LV equipment at 11/0.415 KV Sub Stations including
power transformers, circuit breakers, CTs, PTs, all type of relays and protection Schemes, 11KV Panel
Installation,. Coordination between Civil, Electrical, Mechanical works, monitoring safety and quality,
coordinating meetings, issuing site instruction to Sub-contractor.

I also got the experience of Construction, Maintenance/Fault tracing, Installation, Inspection & Testing
and staff management of HV/LV Equipment at 11KV Feeders and 380/220V power distribution lines
including 200/150/100KVA Distribution power transformers at Hattian sub-Division Office, ATTOCK (IESCO ISLAMABAD)

5. Arrange the skilled staff, machinery, tools and plants.
3- Technical:
1. Repair & Maintenance of Power LV and HV Transmission Lines and
Power distribution transformers (50KVA, 100KVA & 200KVA) in IESCO
(WAPDA).
2. Supervised the Installation and Monthly Reading of Max: Demand
Indicator (MDI) Meters.
3. Estimation, Costing & Purchase order, Work Orders.
4. Coordinating with Consumers & Making Bill of Materials, Finalizing the
Orders.
5. Preparation of Removed/dismantled material report.
6. Purchase & Procurement of Various Electrical materials.
7. Prepared the Safety Management Programs for Office Working Staff,
(Safety Precautions for Working on Energize & De-energize System).
8. Coordination and follow up for approval of critical outages involved
during line faults.
9. Preparation & submission of Operation and Maintenance manual & Test
Record books as per WAPDA requirement.
10. Conducting coordination meeting with internal departments to resolve
the disputed issues.
11. TTR Test, Insulation Resistance Test (Megger Test), Oil DES Test.
12. We can find the accuracy of HT/LT Insulators by performing the short
circuit test of HV/LV Insulators.
13. Issuing the work permit during line faults/Maintenance.
14. Installation of KWH Meters/ capacitors/Lighting Arresters.
15. Laying /Installation of 11KV power cables and Overhead Conductors &
Power distribution Transformers.
Project completed:
1- Bifurcation and Reconductoring of 11KV Hazro Feeder
(For Reduction of line losses)
Diagram: prepare single line diagram and Base Map of 11KV existing feeder which is connected
from 132KV substation (Faqirabad) and then Prepare sketch of 11 Kilo-meter new line to connect
the feeder for bifurcation and 4 kilo-meter reconductoring of the existing feeder
Estimate: To prepare estimate for Material requirement and obtain the approval from concern
authority
Monitor: to monitor the Electrical, Civil and Mechanical Activities
Completion: After completion of work obtain quality Assurance from concern department and
handover to concerning sub-division
