Petition to Retain District Lines

State of Tennessee, Roane County, April the 15th 1317

To the Worshipful County Court for Said County

We the undersigned Petitioners and Citizens of the Said County of

Roane, Respectfully Request and Pray your worshipful Boddy, not to
change the districts of Said County, as we can not See as any Person
will be benafitted by changing lines of said districts. And we are
opposed to making any more districts in Said County than now is,
as it will cause an everlasting Expense to the County without Prof fit
to the County.
