Overview
In the recent years, Supply Chain, Transportation, Procurement
and Logistics has played an increasingly important role within the
corporate world. Its strategic potential can no longer be ignored; it
holds the potential for creating value for the end customer and
differentiating the company strategically in terms of services
rendered. SCM and logistics has now become the pulse of
Business.
The Post Graduate Diploma in Supply Chain Management
program provides an opportunity for vertical growth. Students
acquire professional competencies in materials management and
logistics, leading to an improvement in their job skills and selfenrichment. The program begins by laying the groundwork for a
comprehensive understanding of what supply chain management
is and how it can be effectively used to increase an organisation's
efficiency and profitability. The program further examines
different Supply Chain Management strategies and methods of
forecasting demand, aggregate planning and network design. The
program spans through the whole gamut of supply chain
strategies, processes, operations management and imbibes in the
learner professional skills to add value to the organisation.

Award Of Diploma
The diploma will be awarded only after the student passes in all
elements of assessments, i.e. each computer based examination
and each online assignment, subject to fulfillment of all other
criteria laid down by SCDL as well as payment of all fees /dues.

Mode of Payment
Student Categories:
Cash: All types of fees can be paid in cash only at SCDL, Pune
Campus.
Demand Draft: Students can pay fees via a Demand Draft (DD)
drawn in the favour of The Director, SCDL, Pune and payable at
Pune. All DDs should be sent by Post / Courier to SCDL, Pune only.
Student must affix bar code sent to them with Admission Letter
and mention their name, registration number, contact number,
program enrolled and type of fees being remitted on the reverse
side of the Demand Draft using ball pen. Students must retain a
photocopy of the Demand Draft sent to SCDL. SCDL will not be
responsible for lost / delayed / unidentified DDs. SCDL is not liable
for loss of financial instruments in transit or for unidentified
financial instruments, i.e. without senders details or reason of fee
remittance on the reverse of the DD. Cash must not be sent by
Post/ Courier to SCDL. SCDL will not be responsible for depositing
of any demand draft which are not payable in Pune or cash sent by
post/courier. Payments made via checks and or any co-operative
banks demand draft are not excepted .
International / SAARC students: Such students must remit all fees
in USD or INR equivalent, as prescribed by SCDL. The exchange
rate applicable will be Rs. 65/- against 1 USD for the Academic
Year.

- Students need to first clear the Entrance Test and then pay
the complete program fees on or before November 15,
2015. Registration fee is non-refundable.
Students who are exempted from appearing for SCDLPGDBA Entrance Test 2015-2016; must enclose a copy of
his/her valid score card of any one of the State level or equivalent
entrance test at State/National level with the application
form and pay the program fees as per option 1 or option 2,
as specified above.
Students admitted on provisional basis will not be allowed
to access any student related services and learning facilities
and are not allowed to appear in any examinations or submit
any assignments for the enrolled program, until the time they
comply with all the deficiencies mentioned in the provisional
admission letter.

HOW TO APPLY?
Students have to pay separate entrance test fee to appear
for SCDL-PGDBA Entrance Test 2015-2016, refer page 47,
Fee Policies for all Programs for the same. SCDL-PGDBA
Entrance Test 2015-2016 fee is non-refundable.

Confirmed Admission
Note:
Students should not send any original documents to SCDL. SCDL
is not liable for return/loss of original documents sent by students.
SCDL will not accept any fees in cash by post/courier sent to SCDL.
All types of fees can be paid in cash only at SCDL Main Pune
Campus. Submission of documents within the timelines, for
confirmation of admission, is the sole responsibility of the
student.

Provisional Admission:
Students admitted on Provisional basis do not receive any ID card
until their admission is Confirmed. Provisional Admission is given
when the admission related eligibility criteria as per SCDL policies
are not full filled and application has deficiencies such as:
Photographs (2 copies) are not attached.
Photocopy of the Graduation Certificate submitted are not
attested by a Gazetted Officer/ notarised.
Service Certificate (for Diploma holders and Active Defence
Personnel) is not enclosed / attested.
Inadequate documents / application form.
Application form not signed.
Name Change Certificate is not enclosed, if applicable.
Visa/Passport copy (for International/SAARC students) is not
enclosed.
Photo identity proof not attached or attached unclear copy.
ONLY for PGDBA program:
Not submitted the copy of his/her score card of any one of
the State Level MBA/ MMS-CET/ G-MAT/ CAT/ MAT/
ATMA/ XAT/ C-MAT or equivalent entrance test at State
or National level, valid for Academic year 2015-2016, duly
self-attested.
Not qualified in the SCDL-PGDBA Entrance Test 2015-2016.
Provisionally admitted students must submit required
documents or comply with deficiencies immediately upon
receipt of admission letter/email with respect to provisional
admission status, as specified to get confirmed admission.
The admissions of provisionally admitted student's, who fail to
submit the required documents on or before November 30,
2015, are liable to be cancelled. Such students will not be entitled
for refund of any fees paid. It is the sole responsibility of
students to submit all the required documents within the
prescribed timeline.

only Pune Courts.
