Product Spotlight

dPWER Digital Point of Load (dPOLs)

Power-Ones Digital Power (dPWER) solutions combine a host of inventive
concepts to achieve an unprecedented level of control of system power - output
voltages, sequencing, tracking and protection limits are controlled through a
Graphical User Interface (GUI) and stored in a Digital Power Manager (DPM).
dPWER Digital Power is an innovative approach that doesnt require users
system resources such as I2C interface, host processor or non-volatile memory
- it operates autonomously in any system, providing a wide range of benefits
including:
Open architecture based on industry standard I2C interface
Wide input ranges and programmable outputs reducing the number of
unique units you need to carry
Highly scalable architecture provides up to 32 programmable outputs
from 0.5 to 5.5 VDC
Uses less components and improves reliability, power density and cost
GUI-driven configuration and simulation simplifies power system
development, accelerating time to market
Fully integrated point-of-load solution eliminates component
incompatibility issues
Manages up to four non dPOL devices such as VRMs,
linear regulators, and fans

ZM7300 Series DPMs can manage dPOLs and non dPOL devices ( ie. analog
voltage regulators, VRMs and fans) up to 32 devices, with I2C communication
with host systems in100kbs and 400kbs modes of operation.

PFE1100-12
The PFE1100 is Power-Ones latest front-end power device, offering AC-DC,
Platinum-level 80-PLUS efficiency providing 1100W of power-factorcorrected AC to DC power, via 12VDC main output current and 5V or 3.3V
pin-selectable standby.
The PFE1100-12 series comes in both AC and DC input, with normal (NA) and
reverse (RA) airflows of each version. The series is rounded out with the 850W,
PFE850-12 and 600W, PFE600-12, both coming in normal and reverse airflow.
All PFE series power supplies feature highly accurate real-time monitoring of
input and output parameters, voltages, currents, temperatures, and true power
readings, and all are in the same slim 54mm (2-1/8) width package.
Designed to power intermediate bus architectures (IBA) in high performance
and reliability servers, routers and network switches, this ground-breaking
device exceeds CSCI Platinum targets and has the worlds lowest power
dissipation in the industry.
Whats more, the PFE1100 ensures the highest energy efficiency for end-user
equipment, thereby lowering total cost of ownership through decreased
cooling needs, while also meeting international safety standards and
displaying the CE-Mark for the European Low Voltage Directive (LVD)
so the PFE1100 pays for itself in a few short months.

Product Spotlight

IMX/IMY70 DC-DC Converters

The IMX/IMY70 series of pcb-mountable 70 Watt DC-DC converters has been designed for use in mobile/
stationary railways, transportation, industrial, and telecommunicationsapplications wherein variable input
voltages typically from batteries and high transients are prevalent.
Covering a total input voltage range from 14.4V up to 154V with 3 different models, the converters are available
with one or two electrically isolated outputs from 5V to 48V, are externally adjustable and come with flexible load
distribution. A shutdown input allows remote on/off. Other featuers include consistently high efficiency over the
entire input voltage range, high reliability, and excellent dynamic response to load and line changes.
The converters are designed according to the international safety standards IEC/EN/UL 60950-1 2nd Edition and
operate at temperatures from -40 to +85C.

ABC200/400 and MBC250

Power-One's newest open frame compact power supplies provide 90% or greater efficiency at 230VAC and
provide a single 12V, 24V, or 48V output.
The ABC200 provides 200W of output power in a compact 2"x4" package, which is unmatched in the industry.
Customers no longer have to compromise between space and growing power needs. The ABC400 series
provides 400W of output power and 16W/in3 of power density in a small 3"x5" footprint. These products are
ideal for telecom, datacom, and other industrial applications.
The IEC60601 3rd Edition approved MBC250 Series has a compact 3x5 package, and provides 250W of
output power with up to 90% efficiency at 230VAC. With approval to Means of Patient Protection (MOPP), the
MBC250 is suitable for use in body floating (BF) applications wherein equipment may come in direct contact
with the patient, such as blood pressure monitors or ultrasound equipment. While ideally suited to Medical, the
MBC250 can also be utilized in other high isolation or low leakage applications.

LPM615 and LPM409

The LPM615 and LPM409 modular power supplies give customers the ability to configure their supplies for specific needs,
with the ability to easily adjust should those power needs change in the future. The LPM products provide multiple output
voltages of 2 to 51VDC and different output power options up to 1500W.
The LPM615 is a Power Faction Correction IEC61000-3-2 compliant device and provides 1 to 6 isolated outputs as well as a
class-leading 17W/cubic inch of power density and 1500W of output power. For less demanding power needs, the LPM409
provides up to 4 isolated outputs and 900W of output power.
Both modules come in an extra low 1U profile package, and are excellent supplies for applications ranging from industrial
equipment and telecome, to automation, peripherals, and more.

The compact Aspiro rack series provides -48Vdc in 19/ETSI compatible compact
power systems for loads up to 4.8kW. Available in 1Rack Unit (RU) and 2RU configurations for small space applications, the Aspiro rack systems are utilizing the
Aspiro rectifier family available with up to 1200W at >95% efficiency. Flexible distribution options offer the optimum shelf solution for space-critical applications. In
