There wasnt a person without a smile during the inaugural

Paint Run/Walk, whether it be the participants, those in
charge of pelting them with powdered paint, or spectators

simply taking in the excitement. Very cool event, said

Norm Girard, one the 155 people who completed the 2.5
mile trek around the south side of Glasgow.

Everyone in agreement: Lets do it again!

The 2015 Paint Run/Walk for
the Wounded Warrior Project was
considered a huge success by event
chairman Logan Gunderson.
155 people participated in
the inaugural event sponsored by
the Glasgow High School Student
Council and Glasgow Recreation

Department. Logan said that the

organizers had set a goal of raising
$2,000 for the Wounded Warrior
Project, and they knew the night
before the event that they had
already achieved that amount prior
to Saturdays registration where an
additional 40 people signed-up to

participate.
An exact dollar amount being
donated to Wounded Warriors will
not be known until the bills are
finalized in the next couple of weeks.

According to feedback from the
participants, it very well sounds like
this will be an annual event.

Disasters? What Disasters?

by Tanja Fransen, Glasgow Levee Committee/

Local Emergency Planning Committee

Your input is needed! The City of Glasgow and Valley
County are working on several projects related to hazards
and disasters.

Wed like to hear your input on these topics, as well
as explain potential future funding opportunities for the
numerous issues that we face here on the Hiline. From the
concerns with the Glasgow levee, to our severe summer
storms, the many flood types we see, winter weather, hazmat
and disease, we want to hear what concerns you have, and
what ideas you have. What needs are there in the community
that should be addressed? What repetitive losses can we
work on mitigating?

This meeting will touch upon the Valley County PreDisaster Mitigation Plan that is being updated, give updates
on what the Glasgow Levee Committee has been working
on, and discuss the Community Development Block Grant
on Disaster Resilience being administered by the Montana
Dept of Commerce.

This is a public meeting, and you are welcome to
join us on Tuesday, August 11th from 6-8 pm at the
Cottonwood Inn.

WISHFUL OPINION vs. LEGAL FACT.....

facts and opinions

MANY AGREE that St. Marie property titles need to

be legally cleaned up and that Article X of the Protective
Covenants needs to be clarified legally. The opinions of a
few Investor/Developers Hold no water LEGALLY.

THESE TWO ISSUES must be argued by lawyers in a
Court of Law with a Judge studying the LEGAL FACTS and
making a Legal Ruling. To think otherwise is frivolous
folly. Having said that..... in comparison:
LOOK at the current NVCCA (North Valley County Condo
Assoc) efforts by Marv Bethea, Terry-Lee, Dan Dale, and
Mary Henry that appear stymied. WHY? ...by NOT following
LEGAL protocol and procedure. The so called NVCCA
Directors and Association itself are INVALID as it stands
today. Folks cannot say and do whatever they wish and say it
is so.....ITS NOT LEGAL. (Theyre not Attorneys or Judges)

A MAILING was sent to all St. Marie post office
boxes addressed to Box Holder. It stated that a Covenant
Owners gathering is to be held on Aug 15th in the Base
Chapel to nominate and vote on 3 new Board Members
for the Village, to make recommendations for the New
Amended and Restated Protective Covenants, and accept
petitions for other issues. It noted Call XXX-XXXX for
Information- I called and Terry-Lee answered. Were all
LEGAL PROCEDURES followed? NO - Will the meeting
results be LEGAL? NO

LETS REFLECT and renagulate on the past.
1. In 2013 nine out of over 1000 St.Marie condo owners had
a meeting at the old post office, claimed a 51 % majority
of owners and held elections. It was held invalid because
Mike Mitchell of NSM LLC did not assign his many proxy
votes to that effort. (He put that in writing)
2 In 2014 a protected covenants meeting was called to
amend the covenants, WHY? It was signed by Frantz,
Terry-Lee, and Bethea. Nothing came out of it.
3. Now 2015 and another attempted Village Association
takeover meeting! WHY? Could it be a repeat of the past?....
take control, write self contracts, special assess, possibly
fine, lien and foreclose? Theres a resolution in force (came

out of Judges ruling) that states An association member in

arrears cannot vote or hold office. Thats what got Bethea
removed from the Village Board in past, ironically Bethea
himself wrote an NVCCA resolution stating the same thing
when he was president of NVCCA! The Big 4 investor/
developers are $330,436 in arrears on their Village bills as
of 8-7-15!!

EVANGELIST UPDATE- Preacher John Collins once
again delivered an enlightening sermon! Before entering the
Base Chapel I again spoke to Evangelist Collins on the Chapel
steps. I asked: Preacher, how do you intend to get some folks
to Tell the Truth: and Do the Right Thing? John Collins
answer was, A strong church promotes a strong town, Im
here to do good things, one person at a time. During his
service he told the whole story of Apostle Paul, emphasizing
that he wanted to promote hope, pride, self esteem, and get
the community to come together. Preacher added that he
wanted reduced Busy Bodying and Slandering. My answer
to that is that Everyone writes their own story and the truth
always prevails. Those that through Due Diligence report
in an honest, ethical, legal fashion the facts and events of the
day are doing so, to at times warn and protect other folks
from financial and legal harm.

SOME CANT HANDLE THE TRUTH!

Airborne green & pink paint packets concluded the 2015

Paint Run/Walk in the Glasgow Elks Clubs parking lot
shortly before 10:30 Saturday morning. It was a blast
indeed, having the resemblance of fireworks without
the kabooms. Those that did not get their t-shirt from

the event will be able to get them in the next week or

two (notice will be given in the local media as to when
they can be picked up at the Glasgow Civic Center).
A big thanks to all of the sponsors, participants and
volunteers that helped to make this a huge success.

Backpack fairies at it again with even more local support

Free back-packs with all the basic
back-to-school supplies stuffed inside
are once again available for families
in our community that can use a little
extra help as the new school year rolls
around; first day of school in Glasgow
is September 1st.
Supplies have gone up in price so
much that some families might need
some help, said Jane Doe, especially
those who have multiple children to
tend for.
The Back Pack Fairies report
that they have been blessed by a huge
Charming country home for sale located on a
lovely .88 acre lot featuring a newer well and
septic system. New owner has option to rent out
the house and build a new house above with
amazing views of Glasgow. This warm and cozy
634 square foot 2 bedroom house has been
recently remodeled w/ updated kitchen including
slate flooring, newer counter tops, cabinets and
appliances. Spacious updated bathroom. The
