Anders y el productor Dieter Bohlen. Contando tambin con la participacin de los
coristas y msicos, Rolf Khler, Michael Scholz, Detlef Wiedeke y Birger Corleis, en

grupo ms exitoso en Alemania, con ms de 120 millones de discos vendidos,
despus de Scorpions.1

Modern Talking was a German synthpop duo music genre also classified as
Discofox or Eurodisco. It was formed by singer Thomas Anders and producer
Dieter Bohlen. Also with the participation of singers and musicians, Rolf
Khler, Michael Scholz, Detlef Wiedeke and Birger Corleis in arrangements
Luis Rodriguez and letters Geff Harrison. Sales, is the second most
successful group in Germany, with over 120 million albums sold, after
Scorpions.1
Carrera
El comienzo de Modern Talking[
En 1979 el productor y compositor Dieter Bohlen empez a trabajar para la
compaa discogrfica Hansa. Bohlen consigui ms fracasos que victorias
hasta que le asignaron trabajar con un joven cantante llamado Bernd
Weidung de nombre artstico Thomas Anders. As fue como Bohlen conoci a
Thomas, aunque no tuvieron mucho xito. Su siguiente proyecto, era la
esperanza de Bohlen para no ser despedido, requiri de la ayuda y
colaboracin de los msicos de sesin Rolf Khler, Michael Scholz, Detlef
Wiedeke y Birger Corleis, quienes despus de trabajar durante muchas
horas, lograron conseguir el sonido que caracterizara desde entonces a
Modern Talking. Dieter Bohlen an no haba conseguido un compaero para
Thomas en el nuevo do, as que finalmente por una cuestin de tiempo y
exigencias de la discogrfica, se incluy l mismo para iniciar las
presentaciones oficiales de la banda, conformndose de esa manera el do
Modern Talking. Su xito vino cuando el videoclip fue presentado por la TV
alemana.

Se volvieron rpidamente populares con su single hit Europop "You're My

Heart, You're My Soul" (vase: Historia de "You're My Heart, You're My Soul")
con el que ocuparon el nmero uno en 35 pases2 incluyendo su pas de
origen, donde estuvo en la cima durante seis semanas; el single vendi
ocho millones de copias en todo el mundo.3 El vdeo musical filmado en los
estudios del recin lanzado RTL Plus en Luxemburgo, contribuy en su xito.

"You're My Heart, You're My Soul" fue seguido por otro hit nmero uno "You

The beginning of Modern Talking [
In 1979 the producer and composer Dieter Bohlen began working for the
record company Hansa. Bohlen got more failures than victories until he was
assigned to work with a young singer named Bernd Weidung stage name
Thomas Anders. That's how Thomas Bohlen met, but did not have much
success. His next project was the hope of Bohlen to not be fired, required
the support and collaboration of the session musicians Rolf Khler, Michael
Scholz, Detlef Wiedeke and Birger Corleis, who after working for many

Dieter Bohlen inspiration for songs of Modern Talking was the synth pop. He
also was influenced by German Schlager music, groups like (Bee Gees), for

some songs on their albums starting with the 1999 album Alone and
American-style MOR ballads.
