Market Assessment
A. Examining the General Market
Malaysia satellite broadcasting company, Astro, have dominantly conquered the
broadcasting system in Malaysia. Before, there are no competitor for them, they can
manipulate the system easily. Customer need to pay to have additional channel. Worst
thing is when rainy season, customer cant watch the channel because the satellite signal
was disturbed. Then come the HyppTV from Telekom Malaysia (TM) that provide high
speed fiber optic data transferred that doesnt effect in any weather. But, the problem rise
as not all area in Malaysia have this service. With NOOB Tech, all the problem will be
solve. NOOB Tech can work in any weather and only need stable internet connection for
it to work efficiently.
Now, NOOB Tech will compete with Skybox, a substitute for HyppTV that have
almost the same concept like NOOB Tech but have limited channel.
The table below show the comparison between NOOB Tech and other product.
