Healthcare Management System (HMS) software is used by 4 types of users i.e. Admin
module, Receptionist module, patient & doctor module and report module Admin has the full
Access to the software whereas Receptionist has only limited Access. Software starts with a login
form where Admin can login by entering the username and corresponding password. If the user
name and password matches then ADMIN is directed to the Admin Master page and Receptionist
will be directed to User Master Page.
The purpose of the project entitled as Healthcare Management System (HMS) is to
computerize the Front Office Management of Hospital to develop software which is user friendly,
simple, fast, and cost effective. It deals with the collection of patients information, diagnosis
details, etc. Traditionally, it was done manually.
The main function of the system is to register and store patient details and doctor details and
retrieve these details as and when required, and also to manipulate these details the meaningfully
System input contains patient details, diagnosis details; while system output is to get these details
on to the CRT screen.

Responsibilities:
Understanding requirements properly.
Involved in coding & Unit testing for the assigned module.
Converting prototypes into dynamic Jsps using JSTL, Spring tag libraries.
Responsible for coding classes like Controller, Service and DAO Layers.
Used Spring HibernateDao Support to communicate with Hibernate.
Mapping POJOs to the database tables using JPA and Hibernate Annotations
Responsible for database related activities for the application.

Pharmacy module contains Product Details, Chemist Details, purchases, orders etc.

This Eli Lilly Pharmaceuticals USA is the leading generic pharmaceutical company, marketing
products from a wide range of therapeutic areas .Eli Lilly USA products are marketed to chains,
wholesalers, distributors, hospitals, managed care entities and government agencies. The main
modules of this project are Login, Master Division, Product, Division, Stock and Purchases, Order
& Sales and Receipts & Payment Reports. This master division maintains the details of
administration like employees working in the company, customers and suppliers who dealing with
the company are maintained. Here administrator registers the new employees and some of the
authorized employees are given a user id and password.
