1/6/2010 531 Main St Alarm sounded at location. Tenant away on vacation, but contacted to
gain permission to enter premises. All in order. Alarm company notified.

1/7/2010 566 Main St Alarm triggered by employee at location. Alarm was reset.
1/21/2010 R/O 531 Main St Alarm company called to report alarm sounding. Upon arrival check of
interior and exterior found all to be in order.
1/29/2010 545 Main St R/O responded to alarm sounding at location. Interior and exterior search
of location found all to be in order. Super silenced the alarm and reset it.
Location was then secured by Super.

1/28/2010 2 River Rd NYPD called for assistance to serve a search warrant at location. Search
for evidence of a previous crime. PSD on scene and search completed
without incident.

HOUSING (LANDLORD / TENANT)

DISABLED VEHICLES
1/4/2010 Opp 500 Main St
Disabled vehicle at location obstructing the roadway. Vehicle would not
start. Tow company contacted and towed vehicle without incident.
1/28/2010 686 Main St Yellow school bus would not start. Mechanic on scene to correct the
condition. School bus left the island without incident.

DISPUTES (VERBAL)
1/4/2010 F/O 546 Main St Dispute between bus driver and female. Female stated it is an ongoing
issue between the two. Female stated driver would not allow her to board.
PSD Officers on scene escorted female onto bus.

1/19/2010 546 Main St Two parties in dispute over living arrangement. Party #1 wanted party #2
to leave the premises. Party #2 damaged wall and closet door. Party #2
was renting a room from party #1. NYPD on scene to escort party #2 out
of premises.
ESCORTS
1/5/2010 580 Main St Victim escorted to resident to claim property. Property was not at
location. Victim left area. Resident called NYPD as she claims victim was
being a nuisance and had reason to believe victim broke into her
apartment.
1/10/2010 595 Main St Male youth escorted to apartment to obtain property he left while
attending a party. Property was obtained without incident.
1/28/2010 888 Main St Female escorted to her parents place of residence to obtain her personal
property. Father of female protested her leaving the residence. PSD
Officer advised female is an adult, remained on scene until she could
obtain her personal property and was escorted to the bus. R/O waited for
female to get on the bus and leave safely.

1/29/2010 540 Main St Housing Management Super requested an escort for male and his two
children to gather their belongings from apartment they were evicted
from. Male gathered belongings and apartment was then secured without
incident.

EVICTION
1/28/2010 540 Main St R/O responded to location for eviction for nonpayment of rent. NYC
Marshall on scene as well as Building Superintendents. Tenants were
escorted out of apartment, advised to see a judge and locks on apartment
door were changed.

FOUND PROPERTY
1/1/2010 RIOC Bus Found child's backpack containing crayons, toys and books. Owner came
in later to claim.
1/5/2010 Adj. 580 Main St Various identification cards found and brought into PSD. Detectives
located owner and returned them.
1/6/2010 550 Main St Wallet found at location by R/O. Owner contacted and came in to retrieve
his property the following day.
1/9/2010 550 Main St Reporter turned in a leather wallet found on the sidewalk. Owner of wallet
came into PSD later that day to retrieve property.
1/13/2010 Main St Sidewalk Black bag found at location. Bag belonged to contractor doing work on
island. Bag was retrieved by owner.
1/13/2010 543 Main St Identification card found. Owners address is unknown. Property placed
in Sgts cabinet.
1/16/2010 20th St New York Lost property found at location and brought to PSD. Owner contacted
and will pick up property.
1/16/2010 555 Main St Reporter found yellow plastic bag containing wallet and an iPod. All
contents verified by owner and property returned.
1/20/2010 350 Main St Found lunch tote containing empty plastic containers. Bag secured in
Sgts. Cabinet.
1/24/2010 F/O 625 Main St Cab driver turned in cell phone valued at $600 which is an IPhone 3G.
Owner contacted and picked up phone later in the day.
1/24/2010 Astoria Blvd. Reporter stated she lost her wallet somewhere along location. Reporter
wanted phone number and address to 114 pct to file a report.

1/27/2010 510 Main St A pile of mail was found on the floor at location. All letters were secured
with the postal supervisor.
1/28/2010 300 Main St Found debit card at location . Property logged in and secured in Sgts
cabinet.
GAS LEAK
1/9/2010 580 Main St FDNY on scene for a call of smell of gas. Smell was caused by burning
eggs at location.
1/21/2010 400 Main St FDNY on scene for a call of a gas smell. Area checked with negative
results. All in order.
1/25/2010 400 Main St FDNY on scene for a call of gas smell. Construction going on in the area
which is causing a gas like smell. Second call of this type.
1/26/2010 400 Main St FDNY on scene for a call of a gas smell. Area checked with negative
results. All in order.

HAZARDOUS CONDITION
1/6/2010 455 Main St Broken pipe at location causing icy condition. Water valve shut by
engineering department to stop any further damage until condition can be
corrected.
1/18/2010 555 Main St Reporter stated three bricks were missing from sidewalk almost causing
her to fall. Grounds personnel notified to correct the condition.

1/25/2010 688 Main St Door observed off the hinges laying on the ground at location. Door was
placed to the side. Engineering notified to correct the condition.

1/30/2010 405 Main St Victim stated neighbor is smoking and smoke comes into her apartment
through the vent. R/O spoke to neighbor and he stated he has a cross
complaint of harassment against her with building management. R/O
could not smell smoke of any kind.

HEALTH HAZARDOUS CONDITION


1/26/2010 510 Main St Reporter notified PSD that he found feces in stairwell at location. Urine
was apparent as well. Reporter stated maybe a homeless person. Area
will be monitored.

IDENTITY THEFT
1/29/2010 555 Main St Victim entered PSD to report he was a victim of identity theft stating credit
card companies are calling to say he applied for cards in his name and
purchases being made. Victim requested NYPD. NYPD on scene and
stated they could not file a report until the victim received an affidavit
from the credit card company.

ILLEGAL DUMPING (GARAGE)


1/30/2010 560 Main St Building management stated various items were thrown outside of
apartment window at location. Tenants were spoken to and stated that
they threw the items out in the AVAC room. Tenants stated they would go
outside and clean it up.

INVESTIGATIONS (NON-CRIM.)
1/1/2010 Queens, NY NYPD Officer contacted PSD to check residence of escaped suspect.
Search of apartment yielded negative results.
1/4/2010 688 Main St Victim stated employee of parking garage is tampering with her vehicle.
Ongoing problem between the two. Victim did not witness any tampering.
Parking garage manager notified to investigate ongoing matter.

1/7/2010 East Sea Wall Reporter stated dog feces at location. Officer checked area and reporter's
information was unfounded.
1/10/2010 688 Main St Reporter stated two males entered location with Ninja masks acting
suspiciously. When males saw reporter on phone they left the location.
Search of area for subjects yielded negative results.
1/10/2010 580 Main St Reporter stated an intoxicated male approached him causing reporter to
become scared and report incident to PSD. Reporter later notified 911.
No police report taken due to no crime taking place.
1/11/2010 F/O 510 Main St Reporter stated unknown male has been following his girlfriends daughter
on two occasions. He will return later in the evening with the Mother and
Daughter to file a police report.
1/11/2010 546 Main St Reporter came into PSD to produce court papers allowing him to enter his
deceased Father's apartment. Upon arrival police tape was cut, no forced
entry and nothing missing.
1/11/2010 540 Main St Victim stated an unknown chemical odor was coming from the vent in her
bathroom. Super contacted and unable to determine the cause of the
odor. Victim stated later in the evening the odor had dissipated.

1/11/2010 F/O 580 Main St Victim stated to R/O that bus driver would not let her board the bus.
Victim and R/O entered PSD to file a report at which time the victim stated
she was cold, became agitated and left before any information could be
gathered.
1/13/2010 546 Main St Victim stated male subject was sleeping in her bedroom. This is an
ongoing occurrence between victim and subject. Victim allows subject to
enter her apartment and then wants subject escorted out. Victim signed
written statement that she will no longer allow subject to enter her
apartment and will have locks changed.
1/18/2010 575 Main St Victim stated subject sublet his apartment while he was away and
destroyed and sold some priceless works of art. NYPD on scene and
advised victim to go to small claims court.
1/18/2010 F/O 571 Main St Victim stated his vehicle may have been stolen. NYPD computer search
showed to evidence of his vehicle being towed. Victim has outstanding
parking tickets and vehicle may have been towed but not in the system.

1/18/2010 521 Main St Reporter stated someone is using the batting cages at listed location
without authorization and at unauthorized times of use causing
disruption. Area will be monitored.
1/19/2010 625 Main St NYPD Detectives contacted PSD regarding a warrant for arrest of resident
at said location.
1/21/2010 East Seawall Suspicious male at location. Male stated he is an amateur photographer.
Subject did not appear to be a threat. Identification obtained.

1/24/2010 580 Main St Reporter notified PSD that blood was found on buttons to elevator.
Building Super notified and responded along with R/O but no such
evidence was found at location.
1/24/2010 900 Main St Male and female observed in vehicle without clothing attempting to
engage in sexual activity. Both parties were warned and admonished.

1/24/2010 Opp 300 Main St Two males observed taking pictures at location. R/O requested
identification. Males were deemed to be tourists and posed no threat.

1/26/2010 566 Main St Two youths crossing street were approached by unknown black male
while walking to school. Upon children entering school male fled the
scene. Search of island for subject yielded negative results.

1/26/2010 2 River Rd Victim stated unknown individual was attempting to enter her apartment.
No signs of forced entry. Search of area for subjects yielded negative
results.
1/27/2010 550 Main St NYPD ARREST 114 Pct Detectives entered PSD to notify of island resident
involved in a burglary and wanted for arrest. Subject was arrested later in
the day at his parole appointment.
1/27/2010 20 River Rd. Reporter stated unknown male telephoned him to say he won millions of
dollars and will arrive at his apartment to take him to the bank. Reporter
notified PSD immediately. NYPD refused.
1/28/2010 625 Main St Victim stated two males were fighting at location which caused him to
become fearful. Two males found talking together and no sign of
altercation, no visible bruises and both parties stated they were not
fighting. Victim left location.
1/28/2010 R/O 645 Main St Reporter advised unknown male has been following his stepdaughter for
over a month. Female and mother will be in to PSD to file a formal
complaint.
1/28/2010 546/560 Main St Unknown subject continually follows female youth. Pictures shown to
victim of various subjects with no ID made. Victim and mother advised to
call PSD immediately upon seeing the subject.
1/29/2010 575 Main St
Victim contacted PSD to do a search of apartment as victim felt someone
was in the apartment. Search of apartment was made with negative
results of an intruder. Apartment was then secured by victim.

JUVENILE RELATED (INCIDENTS)


1/12/2010 587 Main St Reporter (teacher) advised student was being disorderly in class.
Reporter notified principal and PSD of the incident. Reporter wanted to
know what to do if principal did not rectify situation and reporter was
notified to contact NYPD if he would like to file a further report.

1/26/2010 550 Main St Three youths unsupervised brought into PSD until their parents could
come to pick them up. One picked up by older brother, other by Father
and other by Mother. No injuries.

LOCK-OUT (VEH / PREMISE)

LOST/MISSING PROPERTY
1/5/2010 625 Main St Victim stated gold ring valued at $700 was missing from her jewelry box.
She did not see anyone take it but suspects one of her home care
attendants may have taken it. Victim will notify 911 on her own.

1/12/2010 30 River Rd Victim reported in December she was missing property from her
apartment, house and mail box keys, palm organizer and various software
products. No reported emergency entries into her apartment. Locks were
changed in December. Victim requested NYPD who were contacted and
on scene to file a report.
1/26/2010 888 Main St Reporter was making a deliver at location and upon return his bicycle was
missing. Search of area yielded negative results.

POSSIBLE ILLEGAL SUBSTANCE


1/12/2010 540 Main St Detectives while on patrol smelled a heavy smell of what appeared to be
marijuana coming from the area. Upon canvas of the area they observed
an apartment door open with a large cloud of smoke and smell of
marijuana coming from the apartment. Tenant identified.

1/13/2010 540 Main St Reporter approached R/O and advised smell of marijuana coming from 4th
floor area of location. R/O observed odor coming from the area. Area will
be monitored.
PROPERTY DAMAGE (NON-CRIM)
1/7/2009 250 Main St Ball struck the backboard of the basketball net causing it to come
crashing down. No injuries. Condition to be corrected.
1/30/2010 580 Main St Bus supervisor stated rear window of bus was broken. As bus driver was
pulling into bus garage two previous passengers stated that the window
broke while they were riding the bus. Photos taken and no further
damage or injuries.

RECOVERED PROPERTY

SMOKE ALARMS / CONDITION / FIRE


1/5/2010 580 Main St Smoke in hallway due to smoking pile of ash. FDNY on scene as well as
building Super. Fire extinguished. Super notified.
1/8/2010 536 Main St Smoke alarm sounded at location due to faulty smoke detector. Super on
scene and building management notified.
1/10/2010 580 Main St Smoke alarm sounded due to smoke at location caused by unattended
food burning on the stove. Windows were opened to correct the
condition. No injuries or property damage.
1/16/2010 560 Main St Smoke in hallway due to tenant burned food on the stove. Windows
opened to air out hallway. No injuries or property damage.

1/17/2010 455 Main St FDNY on scene for report of smoke condition. Upon investigation smoke
was coming from burning incense.
1/20/2010 400 Main St R/O responded to fire alarm. FDNY on scene. False alarm due to Con
Edison work being done at location.
1/26/2010 F/O 645 Main St Garbage can on fire in front of location. R/O extinguished fire. No
significant damage caused to garbage can.

1/30/2010 580 Main St Victim stated electrical fire in bathroom caused by light fixture. R/O
observed burned out light bulb and melted light fixture with soot on the
sink. Victim stated he extinguished fire with a fire extinguisher causing a
burn to his index finger which he refused medical attention. Super on
scene to assess the damage. Photos taken.

SHOPLIFTING
1/26/2010 682 Main St Reporter stated youth took ice cream valued at 1.50 and put it in his jacket
pocket. Reporter does not want youth in store again. Youth transported
to PSD and was released to his adult brother.

UNSECURED (VEH / PREMISE)


1/13/2010 619 Main St Reporter stated front doors came off hinges and alarm sounded. Security
will monitor door until repairs can be made. Repairman arrived 1/14 to
make repairs.

VEHICLE ACCIDENT
1/14/2010 F/O 571 Main St Reporter stated to R/O he observed subject back into his vehicle causing
damage to his front right bumper. NYPD on scene to file a report.

1/20/2010 546/550 Main St NYC Parks vehicle hit RIOC red bus causing damage to glass and side of
bus. No injuries to report. NYPD on scene to file a report.
1/31/2010 Opp 2-4 River Rd Two vehicles involved in an accident where one vehicle rear ended the
other at listed location. NYPD could not respond in a timely manner and
both parties were advised to exchange information and arrive back at
scene within 10 days of incident notifying 911 for NYPD to respond to
scene for a report.
VISITATION (CHILD CUSTODY)
1/13/2010 R/O 475 Main St PSD called by Mother stating Father violated custody exchange. Father
stopped at train station and stated he is to drop the child off with the
Mother not the Mother's sister. NYPD on scene. Mother came to accept
the child.

Father stated Mother violated court ordered visitation agreement. Mother
brought in revised court order. Copies of court orders attached.

WATER LEAK
1/3/2010 560 Main St Water leaking in laundry room at location. Super on scene to correct the
condition.
1/3/2010 580 Main St
Water leak at location due to stopped up sink. Damage to parquet floors
and tenant's towels. Super on scene with porters cleaning up water.
1/9/2010 580 Main St
Water leak in closet at location due to a faulty pipe. Condition corrected.

NOISE
1/5/2010 625 Main St Alarm clock was ringing constantly all day and Super entered apartment
to disengage it as tenant was not at home. Apartment was then locked
and tenant notified of situation.

Victim stated noise coming from neighbors apartment. Ongoing problem
with loud music playing. Neighbor was notified and music was turned off.
1/17/2010 580 Main St Reporter stated loud music playing at location. Check of area could not
confirm report. Referred to building management.
1/17/2010 510 Main St
Reporter stated unknown person banging on her door. NYPD responded
to location. Search of area for subject yielded negative results.
1/21/2010 400 Main St Reporter stated loud noises coming from location. Upon check of area
Con Edison was doing work in the area.
1/27/2010 575 Main St
Reporter stated another tenant at location is making noise in the middle of
the night using what sounds like camera equipment. Incidents reported
to building management, letters sent to tenant but noise continues.
Reporter advised to contact PSD immediately when noise begins.

1/1/2010 510 Main St Hallway 7th Floor

TRESPASS
1/1/2010 540 Main St NYPD ARREST NYPD Officer and R/O observed two individuals lingering
at location. Subjects could not identify where they were visiting. Upon
search of subject #1 found small zip lock bag of what appeared to be
marijuana. Subjects were brought into PSD. Subject #1 transported to
114 pct for processing and subject #2 issued trespass summons and
released.
1/1/2010 4 River Rd ARREST Subjects observed in stairwell of location and could not give
justification for being at location. Subjects transported to PSD and upon
search of Subject #1 found small zip lock bag of what appeared to be
marijuana. Subject #1 issued summons for trespassing and unlawful
possession and subject #2 issued summons for trespassing. Both
subjects were released.
1/29/2010 580 Main St ARREST Anonymous female contacted PSD to report 6 males loitering in
hallway smoking marijuana. Upon arrival R/O observed males sitting on
the floor smoking a cigar. Males were brought into PSD summonsed and
released.
HARASSMENT
1/1/2010 546 Main St Reporter came into PSD and advised tenant is harassing him for money
he does not owe. NYPD refused.
1/1/2010 560 Main St Victim advised four unknown females knocked on her door and threw
water in her face and fled. Search of area for subjects yielded negative
results.
1/1/2010 579 Main St Victim reported to PSD that six unknown males followed him from location
to Main Street threatening and harassing him. Upon entering Main Street
subjects fled. Search of area for subjects yielded negative results.

1/11/2010 F/O 546 Main St Victim stated unknown male subject was pulling her toward his vehicle
and she resisted him. Victim refused NYPD but requested an escort to
return to her home from evening church service.
1/14/2010 688 Main St Reporter stated male subject repeatedly harassing his workers at
construction site at location. Subject arrives at location in his vehicle,
gets out of his vehicle wanting to initiate an altercation and drives away.

1/20/2010 560 Main St Victim stated female subject is harassing her. Victim contacted NYPD as
well as PSD. NYPD advised to file for an order of protection.

1/21/2010 560 Main St Victim stated female subject is constantly harassing her. This is an
ongoing situation where an order of protection has been filed.
1/22/2010 Adj. 688 Main St Victim stated he is flag man for bridge and unknown subject drives by in
an intimidating manner yelling at him and threatening. This is an ongoing
situation with other flag men as well with same unknown subject. Victim
was advised to contact PSD immediately if he sees unknown subject
again.
1/23/2010 4 River Rd Reporter stated male subject threatened to harm him if he saw him off
island. R/O went to subjects apartment where there was no answer.
Victim will contact NYPD on his own.
1/28/2010 510 Main St ARREST Victim stated subject was in front of her door using profanity
and threats to her life. After numerous requests to leave the area victim
contacted PSD. R/O arrived on scene and female subject was in the
hallway in front of door. Subject admitted to accusations against her, was
placed under arrest, brought into PSD issued summons and released.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT
1/1/2010 540 Main St ARREST R/O observed subject being disorderly. Subject was brought
into PSD, summonsed and released.
1/5/2010 425 Main St Two female youths involved in a physical altercation at location. Both
subjects had injuries but refused EMS. Subject #2 released to her parent
and Subject #1 escorted to subway.
1/15/2010 F/O 200 Main St ARREST Subject observed with open container. Upon approach subject
became disorderly and violent. Summonses issued for both offenses.

1/28/2010 580 Main St ARREST Victim and subject arguing over an iPod touch that victim
wanted returned. R/O on scene and asked subject to comply. Subject
emptied pockets, but while doing so used profanity and threw his jacket in
the officers face. Subject was placed under arrest and brought into PSD.
Summons issued and subject was released.

DOMESTIC DISPUTE
1/22/2010 40 River Rd
Husband and wife having dispute. No one harmed and all in order upon
arrival. Individuals stated they will talk calmly through their issue.
OTHER VIOLATIONS
1/17/2010 F/O 587 Main St ARREST Five juveniles observed smoking what appeared to be a
marijuana cigarette. All youths were brought into PSD. Youths
transported to 114 pct where they were released to their parents.
1/17/2010 F/O 465 Main St Summons issued to vehicle which was illegally parked by a hydrant.
Vehicle had not moved and authorization was made to have vehicle
towed. Upon tow company arrival vehicle was no longer at location.

1/18/2010 R/O 200 Main St ARREST Subjects observed with open container at location. Summonses
issued on scene.
1/23/2010 250 Main St Subject observed spitting in public. Subject on soccer team playing at
field and was told by R/O numerous times that he would be summonsed.
Arrangements were made to have situation rectified for future games.

AGG. HARASSMENT
1/23/2010 580 Main St Victim states female subject constantly calls her harassing her for money.
Subject stated victim owes her money which victim confirmed.
Arrangements were made between both parties to make restitution.

1/28/2010 20 River Rd
Reporter stated unknown male called to state he would be arriving at his
apartment. Reporter advised male PSD will be at his apartment. Male
stated he will arrive anyway. 911 Notified and NYPD arrived on scene.

PETIT LARCENY
1/31/2010 540 Main St Victim notified NYPD of male subject took $40 in US currency from her
pants pocket which were on the floor of her apartment. PSD requested on
scene. Subject questioned. Victim did not see subject take the money
and NYPD determined accusation as unfounded.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
1/3/2010 540 Main St Reporter notified PSD that her apartment door was covered in eggs.
Building management advised they would not be able to clean her door.

1/8/2010 F/O 510 Main St Report of inner and outer door windows broken at location. It was
determined windows broken by children who were identified to reside in
the building. Parents notified for payment and correction of the condition.

1/10/2010 510 Main St Reporter stated group of youths repeatedly rang the doorbell and then
proceeded to kick the door causing damage to the doorbell. Youths fled
the scene. Search of area yielded negative results.
1/17/2010 510 Main St Two fire doors observed to be damaged and taken off the hinges at
location. Building management notified to correct condition.
1/31/2010 688 Main St Vehicle was observed damaged by R/O. Windshield was smashed and
cracked in several places. Rocks were observed on the side of the vehicle
indicating those might have been used to cause damage. Scratches to
sides of vehicle as if by a key. Photos of vehicle taken and owner notified
of damage.

MISDEMEANOR ASSAULTS
OTHER MISDEMEANORS
1/2/2010 580 Main St NYPD ARREST R/O assisted NYPD in arrest of subject stalking a female.

1/22/2010 540 Main St ARREST Victim stated subject was kicking in her door using profanity
and threatening her and her daughter. Subject was questioned and
searched. Upon search illegal drug paraphernalia was found in pants
pocket. Subject was taken to 114 pct for processing.

GRAND LARCENY
1/28/2010 645 Main St School bus driver left her pocketbook in the school bus while she went on
a break. Upon return the window was pushed in and her pocketbook was
missing with various credit cards, identification, house keys and ez pass.
Check of area yielded negative results for property or subject. NYPD on
scene to file a report.

GRAND LARCENY AUTO


1/1/2010 36th Ave 11 & 12 Reporter advised his vehicle was stolen off island. Reporter filed a report
with NYPD.

ASSAULT
1/17/2010 580 Main St Victim stated two male subjects punched him in the face in the hallway of
said location and left the scene. NYPD on scene and victim transported to
Mt. Sinai. Search of area for subjects yielded negative results.

1/25/2010 F/O 580 Main St ARREST Subject apprehended and arrested in connection with assault
charges of 1/17/10.

BURGLARY
1/13/2010 595 Main St Victim states husband went out in the morning and left the door unlocked.
When victim woke up apartment had been burglarized. NYPD on scene to
file a report.
1/14/2010 555 Main St ARREST Male subject apprehended at location for a report of
trespassing. Investigation revealed subject had in his possession items
from a previous robbery. Subject was transported to 114 pct. for
processing

ROBBERY
1/16/2010 Opp 625 Main St ARREST Victim stated subjects attempted to take his cell phone and
