ADMISSION TO Ph.D. /M.S. (By RESEARCH) PROGRAMMES JULY 2015 SESSION

SELECTED CANDIDATES HAVE THE OPTION TO JOIN THE Ph.D./M.S. (By RESEARCH)
PROGRAMMES EITHER DURING JULY 2015 OR JANUARY 2016 SESSION.
Candidates opt to join in July 2015 session are directed to appear with the following original
certificates and self attested photocopies as per the schedule enclosed. The necessary fees as shown below
shall be paid on the scheduled date through online mode using Credit card/Debit card/Net Banking on
successful completion of certificate verification.
The following Original certificates and their self attested photocopies shall be produced for
verification
1. SSLC or its equivalent
2. HSC or its equivalent
3. UG Mark sheets and Degree Certificate
4. PG Mark sheets and Degree Certificate
5. Community Certificate (If applicable)
6. Service Certificate obtained on or after 03.06.2015 (if part-time)
7. For Full-time candidates (If employed), Relieving order from the employer.
8. Transfer Certificate of last studied (Original TC will be retained with this University).
9. Differently abled scholars shall produce a photocopy of Disability Certificate obtained from
State/Central Government Organization for availing Tuition fee exemption (If applicable)
Important Note:
1. Selected candidates whose proposed Supervisor is already having 12 scholars (both Ph.D. and M.S.),
will be admitted to Ph.D./M.S. (By Research) programmes subject to submission of
i. Consent of alternate recognized supervisor from recognized department of this University.
ii. Details of research scholars registered under the proposed Supervisor
iii. Fresh list of members for DC/MC.
iv. One page write up duly signed by the proposed Supervisor and Candidate
2. A maximum of 4 candidates are only allowed to register with a Supervisor in a session.
In case, more than 4 candidates are selected, such Supervisors are requested to give a consent letter to 4
selected candidates who are willing to join in this session (July 2015).
The remaining selected candidates (maximum 4) may be permitted to join in January 2016 session.
3. Candidates working in Govt./Govt. Aided Engineering Colleges and Polytechnics shall produce No
Objection Certificate obtained from the Directorate of Technical Education, Chennai.
