One of the former Intel employees described Krzanich as the worst-dressed guy in a

He's going to fall in the category of 'not a bad choice "
Krzanich seems to play well with others.

Interview [02.05.13]
Intel inside stickers on personal computers is still the king of PC chips. But
that is a shrinking business, and Intel is a laggard in making chips for hot products
like smartphones and tablets.
In 2012, almost two-thirds of Intels $53 billion in revenue came from making chips for
PCs, a market Mr. Krzanich acknowledges is not growing, lets be honest
The resources that made us great in PCs and servers are even stronger in the mobile
and cloud world.
I look at this world and see all kinds of devices connected to computers, and
people connected to it all the time

Qu es la Wearable Technology? [To Be Discussed: TBD]
What's the deal with wearable tech?
Wearable tech may enter the enterprise soon, so IT should get to know these
devices before they have to manage them.
If users bring smartphones and tablets into the enterprise, then why not
wearable tech? Wearable devices haven't taken the world by storm quite yet, but
it's not too early to get prepared.
It's always better for IT to get ahead of new trends than get caught behind the
wave. And the next trend may be wearable devices that users can have on their
person, connect to their phone, and use for purposes like making calls, entering
data and accessing apps. Since wearable devices can be hands-free, there are a
lot of possibilities for enterprise use. Although it's uncertain whether these
devices will see widespread adoption in the business world, it's not likely wearable
tech will go by the wayside with consumers.
Get to know these new computing devices before your employees start
bringing them to the office.

Qu es la Wearable Technology? [To Be Discussed: TBD]
Beecham Research has found Wearable technology companies do not have
the right approach to wearable technology
Technology firms are placing too much focus on device aesthetics or
functionality, but fail to properly combine these aspects.
We see wearable tech as playing a critical role in the drive to greater
connectivity and the internet of things, where we will interact with intelligent spaces
through wearable devices.
If consumers do not like the look of a product, they are less likely to wear it.
Companies need to have more awareness of customers and how they want
devices to look as well as what they want them to do
Employees are required to wear devices for work, they are still more likely to
benefit from them more if they enjoy wearing and using them.

cinta adhesiva (sustrato flexible).

Mobile apps still dominate the minds of developers
and businesses, but embedded products represent the
next big thing in computing.
This week, discover what visionaries, researchers,
and analysts have to say about the challenges and
opportunities, choices, and timesaving tools available
for use in your quest to innovate for the Internet of
Things.
One of those new opportunities is Intel Edison, the
research project that turned into an SD card-sized
computer for powering smart things

Here is a snippet:
"The ASUS X99-A is a mid-range motherboard for the new Intel high-end
"Haswell-E" processors, based on the new LGA2011-v3 socket. It includes three
PCI Express 3.0 x16 slots, ten SATA-600 ports (with one SATA Express
connector), ten USB 3.0 ports, and a high-end audio controller. Let's take a good
look at this board."

Note. "Sexy" might not be the first adjective that comes to mind when thinking
about enterprise-grade notebooks, but that's how some reviews are describing
the first generation of Ultrabook devices.
Focus on Usability
Ultrabook devices must be able to wake up in less than seven seconds so
users always have immediate access to both content stored on their Ultrabook and
Web-based data. Smart Connect allows the device to periodically wake up while
its asleep and refresh the content. So as you open it up, within seconds, you have
updated content.

Two alternatives:
Bring Your Own Device (BYOD)
Any device, owned by the user, used anywhere.
Users purchase, own and maintain a device found on the open market. They
even install apps themselves. Challenges include data security, experience
consistency, support expenses, policy and integration.

Platform technologies differ from traditional platforms in that they are not only
predicated on physical assets.
