many*nixbasedoperatingsystems.Itisworthreadingthematerialonthefollowinglinkand

2. Gotohttp://www.playonmac.comregisterasauser.
Fromexperience,wehavediscoveredthev4.0.3isthemoststableversion,for
packettracer,thiscanbefoundathttp://repository.playonmac.org/aslater
versionsdonotseemtobecompatiblewithPacketTracer.
TheauthorisassumingthatyoucaninstallapplicationsonyourMac,withthisin
mind,pleaseinstallPlayOnMac,itsnotadifficultprocess.
Pleasenotethedownloadisaround160+Megabytes,lowerbandwidth
connectionsmaymeanthisisanaturalbreakforanicecupofcoffee.
YoumayneedtosetuptheenvironmentforPlayOnMaconceinstalled,PlayOn
MacusesadditionalapplicationssuchasxQuartz,whichyoumay(ormaynot)
alreadyhaveinstalled.Ifyouhavetoinstalladditionalcomponents,thismaybe
timeforyoursecondcupofcoffee,ifyouareblessedwithaslowconnection.

Thispackwaswrittenforv4.0.3ofPlayOnMac,thereisalwaysthechancethattherewillbe
minor(andsomemajor)changes,dotryitonlaterversions,wealsohavediscoveredthatfor
