Candidates should have more experience of establishing core IP networks on large scale.

Solution Architect in the nerve centre of the SI delivery that owns the SI solution end
to end and architects a detailed solution design document. This document is used by the
Solution Integrators to deliver the solution.
This Solution Architect needs to have breadth of the solution domain. He shall also
identify scope creeps and document the same during the project. He shall also be the
Solution Life Cycle Manager of implemented solution.
This role demands positive mind-set, hands on delivery experience, understanding end
to end customer requirements, risk taking appetite. He/she should have Business
mindset and understand telecom operators business & finances.
This Solution Architect will be require to engage with customer in Pre sales phase and
do the effort estimation and to make sure all the deliverable are capture in sow.
Responsibilities
Understand technical requirements (GRs) of the contracted SI solution and engage
customer to get all required information and have overall agreement on the proposed
solution.
Owns the technical solution during the project phase.
Do a feasibility study of the solution with customer meetings and matching customer
requirements with contracted solution.
Support the Project Managers by drilling down the solution into activities and provide
estimate efforts to make the project budget.
Provide the cost estimation in the pre sales engagement.
Responsible for assigning activities & review technical progress of the project with
Solution Integrators.
Interface and communicate with customer about project technical deliverables till
acceptance and handover to ELS.
Act as the Solution Life Cycle Management of implemented solution.
Proactive self competence development in new solution areas in the domain & SI
certification.
Mentor Solution Integrators, Network Engineers and provide transparent & open
environment for growth and development.
Change management in the project.

 Proactively look out for new business or add on sales opportunities.

The position reports to Manager Service Delivery CCA RINA
Interfaces
He/She shall interface with customer, Project Manager, respective NSG Manager/Team
leads in ELS, Account Technical Managers, Solutions Integrators and 3rd party suppliers.
Required Education and experience
BE/B Tech (Electronics & telecommunications)12 years + experience with preferred
hands on delivery experience in IP Networks, Circuit switched network, Packet switched
network, PBN and IMS Solutions. Solutions would include:
Design & Integration experience for Circuit switched, packet switched and IP solutions
for various network.
Integration of Mobile Packet Backbone Network,
Experience working on SDN, Cloud & NFV solutions
Integration of Broadband RAS,
Packet switched network (SGSN, GGSN)
PCRF & PCEF solution complete understanding in PS network
Integration of Core routers for different technologies.
Integration of IP and Mobile Packet backbones for IN, CS and PS
Integration of DNS, NTP and RADIUS
Integration and policy delivery in Firewall
IMS solutions
Hands on experience and or in-depth knowledge in the five or more competence areas:
IP MPLS
SDN, NFV & Cloud architecture
Smart Edge, Cisco & Juniper: Router & switches
Steel Belted RADIUS, DNS
Firewalls
BRAS
IMS

 TSP platform
SGSN, GGSN & Circuit switched core nodes.
High level domain knowledge of GSM Core, GPRS core, 3G, Radio, Transmission &
MPLS network Qualifications & experience may differ depending on the size & scope of
position
