When in course for growth and development, it becomes necessary for us, as
one people to resolve to a strong determination for transformation in our
corporative, I have decided to step in and step up our cooperative identity and give
it a new face.
As publicity secretary/PRO tasked with the responsibilities of the reputational
management and handling corporate identity and goodwill creation of this
prestigious group NIGCOMSAT Multi-Purpose Cooperative Society Limited, I
believe we are due for a transformation and thereby have thoughtfully come up with
measures of growth for NIGCOMSAT Multi-Purpose Cooperative Society Limited, I
Austin Akataobi has willingly opted to vie for the position of publicity secretary/PRO
and if elected will surely execute every transformative policy/plans I have ;I will
ensure to keep and abide by all plans mentioned in this Manifesto.
MANIFESTO
This manifesto contains a comprehensive detail of my duties and principles for
this corporative.
Position Purpose: To provide information to the cooperative society and wider
community through available means of publicity and perform secretarial tasks on
behalf of the cooperators.
Joint effort with EXCOS:
I will consciously make effort to establish the vision and mission of this cooperative
by working with my EXCOS, for the growth of this cooperative. In every
circumstance I will be willing to assist in all affiliations and accept duties for services
to the cooperative society voluntarily.
Open-minded:
I will serve with all humility and readiness to respond and accept all forms of critic,
advice and suggestions. Creating an atmosphere for my fellow cooperators to be
able to contribute positively
Informational empowerment:
I will ensure to be constantly informed of all social and work related issues, in order
to ensure all members are informed at every gathering by creating a passing down
information circle, i.e. knowledge is power.
Cooperate identity:

Most importantly I will ensure that the identity of this Cooperative Society, Its image
and values are taken to high esteem by not just members but also by nonmembers, by creating plans and interactive forums where by members can decide
on event and activities that can boost our image and maintain a high standard.
Crisis management:
I will ensure to keep all departments of this cooperative society aprs of situations
ahead that may or may not cause crisis or difficulties for the cooperative, and in
situations where by crisis or difficulties may occur, I will handle it with care for the
image and integrity of this cooperative, Maintaining an acceptable face for this
cooperative.
Development
I also will engage in creative innovations and activities that will ensure the
development of NIGCOMSAT cooperative in particular and the general public. These
policies/ activities will be member inclusive and or initiative.
Reputation management
Goodwill creation
Developing plans and coordinating various wide-system activities
Management of events
Management of feedback
Meeting all objectives of this cooperative society

If given the chance as the publicity secretary/PRO to serve this cooperative, I

promise to give my best in return for the trust bestowed on me.
