Nu Flow Uses Nu Drain CIPP In A Florida Fraternity

Nu Flow Florida used the Nu Drain system to reline the pipes in the Chi Delta Association at the University of
Florida. The fraternity was updating portions of the house and wanted a solution that wouldnt slow down their
current renovations.

Customer: Chi Delta Association, Inc. is a fraternity that started at the University of Florida in 1926. It is a chapter
of the North American wide, Delta Chi.
Site: The fraternity is located in Gainsville, Florida although not where the original house used to stand. The large
living space includes dorm rooms, common areas and a kitchen for all of its brothers.
System: The existing sanitary drains were all made from 4 diameter cast-iron pipe. They were located under slab
with a length of 98 feet being relined.
Problem: The fraternity started experiencing trouble with the pipes, which is a problem with so many people living
in one space. Frequent backups were happening to the system due to age, cracks, corrosion and holes in the
pipes.They needed a way to fix the drains while stillallowing current renovations to take place without causing more
destruction.
Solution: Nu Flow was contracted to use the Nu Drain system to meet the clients wishes of not wanting to demolish
the concrete slab. This allowed the renovations to continue and no intrusive work was needed to fix the drains. Nu
Flow was able to complete the job for Chi Delta in only six days.
