FOREWORD
Stories indeed have been a very forceful means of socializing young children and
inculcating noble values that a society wants to nurture among the coming
generation. There is almost a consensus among language pedagogues that story
telling method makes the language learning a joyful activity and at the same time
effective too. Story writing is a creative activity, which not only enhances the
language comprehension and communication ability but provides a platform to a child
to express his/her original ideas and above all his/her feeling and thinking about
the world in which he/she lives. Story writing is also a mode to reflect upon her
vision about the dream world, a child likes to see.
The present book 'Wings of Imagination' is a collection of stories written by Baby
Azka Masih, an 11 year old girl studying in class 6. It includes stories, when she was
in class 4 she became addicted to read stories. She was inspired by some authors
and decided to write her own stories. As a father of Baby Azka my role has been
confined to encouraging and motivating her in putting her creative and imaginative
ideas on paper in the form of stories. These stories may lack in technical maturity
but I am sure they will attract the interest of the peers of the writer whose
thinking and dreams these stories represent. Moreover, as a student of education I
have found this volume quite fascinating to understand the feeling aspiration and
dream of a young child. Azka's aunt, English teacher has gone through the entire
volume and sincerely done the language editing. But I made her a request not to
make any change in the ideas or theme of any story in the name of content editing
and so this volume presents a direct frank and honest imagination of a young writer
in the forms of lovely stories. The illustrations are also sketched by the author
herself.

PREFACE
Wings of Imagination is a collection of short stories. In these stories you will meet
fairies, dragons, aliens and many other characters that are beyond the reach of this
world. I enjoyed writing this book and I hope that you enjoy reading it too.
Trip To Tanzania - It was Isabella's birth day and when Anne gave her a bracelet
they were stuck in a place they didn't knew where the people were sad because of
their new king. Will they be able to solve their problem?
The Paradise - Join Clara on her magical adventure in the middle of the night with
fairies, friends and a giant rabbit.
Magical Locket- When Crystal's father bought her a locket. It made Crystal's life
turn upside down.
Two Fairy Friends- Tulip and Lily are extremely bored and so they are off to Earth
from Fairy Land. Will they be able to make it till the end?
Fairy Doll- Mini is a well behaved girl and because of that she gets a wish from
Tinkle the Tree Fairy. What will she ask for and how will it affect her?
A True Treasure- The farmer died but before that he told his sons about the
hidden treasure in the field. What can the treasure be?
Trip to Mars- One day a man knocked at my door. He was on a spaceship and had
green, wrinkled skin and asked me to come on a trip to Mars.
Clawy And Squeaky- Clawy and Squeaky are enemies but to save Beauty from
Rosanna they have to shake hands. Will they be able to save her?
The Summer Camp- It was Danny's first day at his summer camp and his father
dropped him there. Something was wrong about the place as it was said that the
cave near it was full of ghosts. Join Rony and Danny on their adventure.
Fairy Land- Read the story about the courageous girl Delphie and how she became
the happiest girl in the world.

The Trip- Join Mr.David and his family on their trip to a new planet where you will
find dragons,asteroids and of course a new planet!
Tulip- David's love for tulips was increasing day by day but how he started to care
for other flowers too?
21st Cenctuary's Snow White- You all must have read Snow White which was
written many years ago but this story is a totally new version of it.
The Handicapped Girl- Jenny was rich,pretty and kind but the only bad thing about
her was that she was handicapped. Read and come to know that inspite of her
disability how s he became a role model for everyone.
A True Friend- This story tells us about true friendship. Join Jenny and Elizabeth
in their experience after they fell from the cycle.
Bumpy The Bunny in The Ball- James was a naughty boy but on the other hand Elly
was just his opposite. See how Elly turn James into the best brother when she got a
ball.

There are some people without whom this book would have not been able to come
into this form. First of all I want to thank my father Prof. Aejaz Masih for his
motivation and he is a continuous inspiration of my life and a true role model, and my
mother Mrs. Sabiha Masih for her moral support and motivation. I am very grateful
to my uncle as he helped me to find a path to make my dreams come true. I want to
thank our Chhote Abba Mr. Sulaiman Ahmed as he is the one from whom I was
inspired and decided to write a book. I want to thank my aunt Mrs. Zahra Ahmed
who also played an important role in this book. My sister Sana Appi also helped me a
lot and I am very grateful to her. There are some people who are a very important
part of my life as well as my book and they are my sisters Asna and Asbah. Last but

1. The Trip to Tanzen

Once upon a time there was a beautiful girl called Isabella. She was an excellent
dancer. At 4.00pm as usual she went to her dance class. She was very happy with
her dancing skills. Then after some days on Isabellas Birthday her best friend
Anne gave her a bracelet. As soon as Isabella wore it clouds came over the sky,
gust of wind started blowing and just then everything came to a standstill. Then
once again a storm came and when they opened their eyes they were not in the
dance class. They didnt even knew where they were. Then two dwarfs came, held
their hands and dragged Isabella and Anne saying, how dare you come to the world
of Tanzen without King Tuntims permission? After that they took both of them to
a cottage and locked them up. There were five other prisoners locked up in the
cottage. They were looking very sad. Isabella and Anne asked, Whats the matter
and why have they locked us? An old woman said we all are sad because the old
king has died and now his cruel son is ruling Tanzen and we cant do anything without
his permission. Saying this her eyes filled with tears and it rolled down her cheeks.
Dont cry mother, a young man locked by her side said I hope they will come soon
and save our Tanzen. Who will come and save Tanzen? asked Isabella. Two
graceful dancers will come and save Tanzen, replied the man.

But how? Asked

Anne.

The people living in Lula Bridge only know the answer saying this boy closed his eyes

and went to sleep. All night Isabella and Anne talked and come to this decision that
they must save the people of Tanzen from King Tuntim. The next morning they
decided to start their journey but the question was how will they get out from the
prison. Just then Anne remembered she had a laser stick using which they cut the
rope which was tying their hands and legs. Then they took some sand and threw it
in the guards eye. By the time he was rubbing his eyes they took his keys and
opened the door. They ran so fast that the guards couldnt catch them. They ran
and ran until there was no sight of the guards.

The roads of Tanzen seemed

deserted but finally they caught sight of a young man. They asked him Where is
the Lula Bridge.

He said nothing, but pointed to the left. The deserted place no

more seemed deserted but everyone was running here and there. They went to a
little girl and said Is this the Lula Bridge? Yes, she replied. Then they met a
group of people sobbing.

So they asked what has happened. They said our brother

is caught by King Tuntim just because he returned to Tanzen without asking.

Isabella and Anne consoled them and said, We will try to bring your brother back
but first can you please tell us that how can we change the Kings behavior. The
oldest from them started, Its very difficult but if you want I will tell the answer
Far away in the Dragon Cave there is a ball which a true dancer can only take, go
but be careful: But where is the Dragon Cave? My Children, start your journey
and you will find the clue, it can be anything. They walked and walked but found
nothing. Then Isabella suddenly fell down a hole. She was covered with mud, Anne
helped her get out. When she was out a large number of flowers grew around and
suddenly a strange thing happened, all the mud disappeared in the wind and then
white wings grew from her shoulders. Both girls were amazed. A note fell down on
Annes head and it said, The wings will help you fight the dragon so be careful.
There may be dangers ahead so hide the wings by folding it. There was a map tied
with it. It was the map leading to Dragon Cave. They followed the map and they
arrived where it was written in a big letters The Dragon Cave. They went inside

and a large dragon was there. When he saw Isabella and Anne, he burst out in
anger. How can you get in my house? We are sorry but can we please stay here
for a night as we are lost. I will think about it, he said but some minutes later he
said Yes. But you must make food and lay bed for me and at night you have to clean
my rough skin. Both girls agreed. They did as they were told. At night when they
went to sleep they had an idea, they woke up at midnight. Anne tried to look for
her laser stick but it was nowhere to be seen. She said very sadly I have lost my
favourite laser stick I must have left it in the cottage.

Dont be said, said

Isabella and they went to the dragons room took one of his dresses and disguised
themselves as his friend. They have heard that all dragons look same. They left a
letter saying that they have left. Anne managed the bottom and Isabella the top
inside the dragons dress. After that they went outside and knocked at his door in
the morning. On seeing his dairy they came to know that his best friend was Dinku
and pretended to be Dinku. The dragon greeted his friend warmly. Isabella and
Anne in disguise said to the dragon lets play the game we played when we were
young. You must be remembering it. First I will tie you with this rope which is on
the table.

With these words they started to tie the dragon before he can

understand the situation and when he was tied they took off their dress. Then
Isabella flew up in the air and by mistake hit the dragons head. Suddenly the
dragon began to burn and with a big blast a ball came out of the dragon and landed
on the floor and it broke open. There was a letter in it. Anne read it aloud Go back
to Lula Bridge and you will find something and then the ball closed. They took the
ball and went to Lula Bridge. But on their way they met a man who stopped them.
Finally the man said if you answer my question I will let you go and I will give you
one thing but if the answer is wrong, you will be burnt into ashes. After saying this
he came with a riddle I am very soft, I grow from a plant, I am as white as milk,
whom am I Isabella knew the answer because it was in her book and so she quickly
answered cotton. The man looked disappointed but he had to admit that it was

correct so the man gave them a handful of rainbow coloured sand and said whatever
you wish it will come true but it will only work once so think before you wish. They
went to the Lula Bridge and told about the journey. They were glad and both the
friends quickly started to go to Tintums castle. They walked until they reached the
kings castle. Both of them went inside at once and said fight us if you can. But he
could not understand what is happening. So quickly Anne wished that the people of
Tanzen once again become healthy and happy. Just then the King disappeared and
everyone was happy once again. They gave both the friends a locket of gold. Just
at that moment they were again at the spot from which they had left but they were
not daydreaming because the lockets given by people of Tanzen were still in their
neck.

2. The Paradise
Clara was a five year old girl. She was sleeping but when she opened her eyes she
was not sleeping in her bed but she was somewhere she didnt know. So she got
afraid and wished that the place was not so lonely. Just then a group of friends
arrived. There were trees, animals and fresh air all around them she noticed there
was something moving on the ground and there appeared a long white house with lots
of windows and two very friendly looking fairies came out from the house and took
them in. They discovered that each floor had different lovely and surprising things.
On the first floor the room was made up of worlds tastiest chocolates and chairs
were made up of yummy candies. All five ate to their stomach full. Then they went
to the second floor and it was lovelier than the first one. It was filled with all kinds
of toys, fluffy, hard, small, big and with a variety of colour. The fairies gave all five
a

basket

and

said

toy

you

want,

take.

They all were very happy and started collecting lots of toys in their baskets. They
went to the third floor, it had all types of swings. Like this it went on. When their
stomach was full, they had many things in their basket and they had enjoyed very
much they came out of the house. Then they started to observe the place, at the
very moment Claras friend Crystal fell down but she did not get hurt. They were

surprised but before they could think, they were carried away by a large rabbit
almost the size of an elephant. After sometime, two white wings started growing
from the rabbits shoulder. They began flying and flew for hours.
Then Clara wished that they could hear a story.

Just then a beautiful fairy

appeared with a story book and by the time she reached the end of the story all of
them had fallen asleep.

But when they opened their eyes their mothers were

waking them up to get ready for school. They were sad but even if it was a dream
they would never forget it.

3. Magical Locket
Crystal had a very bad day. She was ill and missed her trip to the whale museum
and she couldnt do anything too.

To make her happy, her father bought her a

locket with a chain. It was very beautiful; it was pink in colour with silver stars on
it. It was morning and she was better but she still rested one more day. Next day
she went to school. She had a good day. When she was returning to school with her
friend Alice, they saw a turtle and picked it up. They were surprised that the
turtle was able to talk, it said among you all who is Crystal? Yes I am Crystal
answered Crystal. Do you have the pink locket asked the turtle. Yes she answered.
You dont know that I am the personal servant of Queen Bella and she had asked me
to bring that locket but now you own it so you are our Queen.

He told that he was taking the locket to the queen but he tripped and it went into a
shop. Before he could take it from the shopkeeper he took it and sold it to your
father. Then he took Crystal to a large building filled with frogs. Then he said Can
you see that button on your locket, if you press it, see what happens. She pressed
the button and to her surprise all the ugly frogs turned into beautiful fairies. They

pointed her to a thrown and said now you are the queen but Crystal said I cant be
your queen, I want to go home, my parents must be waiting. First, they all didnt
agree but then an old fairy said she might go back to her house but with a gift.
Then she went to a box near her and brought a pair of wings. A little fairy was
crying because she was not happy with this decision so Crystal promised her that
she will come to them every Saturday. Crystal always kept the wings safely and
keeps meeting the fairies. Just see around you may also get a talkative turtle and a
magical locket.

4. Two Fairy Friends

Once there was a little fairy named Tulip and her friend Lily. They had nothing to
do. They were very bored. Once they had an idea, they decided to move from
fairyland and go to earth so they can do lots of interesting things.

Now the

question was how to go to earth? The next day when Tulip was having breakfast
just then one of her loose milk tooth fell down. She took it to Lily and said I have
read that if you put your broken tooth under your pillow and sleep the following day
your wish will come true. That night Tulip wrote her wish and put her tooth under
the pillow.

The next morning Tulip found two microphones and a letter. It said if you keep
singing from half an hour without stopping something will happen that will help both
of you. So they did as told but it was very hard. Finally when they had finished
both of the mikes became big, then small then again big. Then they stuck together
and started to change their shape. It then turned into a plane but the fairies were
surprised because they hadnt seen such a thing before but Tulip found a letter and
said I think it will tell how can we make it move: then they started reading it, it
was easy to understand because it was written in fairy language. It took an hour

when finally they finished reading it. But who will drive it, asked Tulip. Finally Lily
drove first. She drove it smoothly. After sometime they came to a rocky mountain
and they saw a large, white rabbit, ten times bigger than them but when they were
seeing it the rabbit ate their map which they had bought from fairy furry shop.
When Tulip saw that she said Oh, what have you done, now how can we go to earth.
The rabbit looked sorry and said I am sorry but dont worry come to my house and
we will find a solution so they went there. Go in that pot and rest while I come up
with a solution he said
Both of them went inside the pot and lay down. At that moment the rabbit suddenly
came and closed the pot with a lid. The cute rabbit now looked cruel. He said now
lets eat some food and you are my food. Tulip and Lily started to get scared but
what could they do. Just then Tulip had an idea. She told Lily her plan. When the
rabbit opened the lid to put vegetables Tulip said that put some salt too or your
food will not be tasty and dont forget to put noodles. The rabbit liked the idea.
When he was adding salt and noodles Tulip and Lily quickly hold the salt and threw
into his eyes. Then they used the noodles as a rope to come out (because they were
giant noodles). They ran and ran until the rabbit was out of sight. Now how can they
get the map they thought? They reached the place where their plane was and again
flew their plane. They stopped at one place after some hours. Lily suddenly saw the
same map in a shop and they bought it. So the problem was solved. They enjoyed
very much on earth.

5. A Fairy Doll
Once there was a girl named Mini. Her 5th birthday was going to come but she
didnt yet had her gift but then she saw a big beautiful doll with rainbow colored
wings ,double the size of her in a supermarket and she loved it. She bought that as
her birthday gift. At 12 Oclock a fairy appeared in Minis room and she woke her up
and said hello, I am Tinkle the tree fairy and on a childs 5th birthday a leaf grows
on my tree and its health depends on the childs behavior.

Each month the

healthiest leaf which is grown by a childs good behavior that child gets a wish. So I
will come tomorrow at midnight, write your wish on a paper and put it under your
pillow. She thought and thought and finally a thought came in her mind. Her wish
was to make her doll alive. The next morning, suddenly a sound come of a girl saying,
please take me out of it, its very clumsy inside. First Mini didnt understood but
then she realized that her doll was speaking. Mini took her out and asked how was
she talking?

The doll said Do you remember your wish? Once I came to this planet to have a
picnic, two people came and mistook me as a toy. Just because they dont harm me,

I acted as a toy. Then they put a cream on me to make me shine and thats why I
became hard and unable to move. But you helped me by making a wish .So you have
been separated from your family? Yes but what can I do. I feel sad for you so
you can go to your family forever. Really are you saying the truth? Yes but if you
take me for a trip to your place. I will be happy to do that. They went at night.
Mini sat on the dolls back. Then after sometime suddenly very bright light shone
and when it dimmed, there were flowers all around. Butterflies, fairies dazzled
around. Mini and the doll met her family. They were very happy to see her family
members.
They also thanked Mini. They went out for a picnic and also to see the dogs race.
But after sometime, Mini had to go because it was going to be morning on Earth. So
the dolls sister dropped Mini back and returned. They lived happily ever after and
the doll regularly came to meet Mini.

6. A True Treasure
An old farmer had three lazy idle sons. The farmer fell ill and called his sons to tell
them about the hidden treasure in the field. After some days the farmer died.
The sons ploughed the field but found no treasure. Even though they didnt find
the treasure, they keep on digging. It was their bad luck that they still didnt find
the treasure. That same day at night the three sons had a dream. In the dream
their father was standing in front of them and he said You sow seeds, it always
grow

nicely

in

well

dug

ground

and

remember

to

do

hard

work.

One day you will find the true treasure. Hearing this, his first son worked harder
but the other two sons didnt understand and they just wasted their time.
Gradually the first son became rich because of his finest fruits and vegetables but
the other two sons became poorer and poorer because their fruits and vegetables
were not good. Then they understood that hard work is a true treasure. Dont
forget to do hard work or you will pay for it but if you do hard work you will
definitely get good results.

7. Trip to Mars
Early one morning, a man knocked at my door and said I have won a free trip to
Mars.

He was a weird looking man neither on a car nor on a bike, but on a

spaceship. He didnt look like human. He had green wrinkled, rough and hard looking
skin.

But I still said yes. He told me to be ready at midnight. I was excited but I hardly
believed him. At last, at midnight he came again and I went inside the spaceship.
Suddenly I became very sleepy and when I got up there were green weird looking
men and women everywhere. Its Mars, a man wearing a long gown said. Another
man said He is the king of king. We have bought you here because a few days ago
you helped a person ,that was me. I had gone to earth and was caught in a problem
but you helped me. Thank you! I want to give a gift to you said the king of kings.
Then a fairy came and gave me a locket and said Wear this locket and say, where
you want to go. It will take you to that place in no time. She also gave me a pair of
wings. Then we had food and then suddenly my mother started calling me for lunch,
then I realized I was so deserted in a book that I forgot I was just reading a
storybook.

8. Clawy and Squeaky

Once there was a cat named Clawy and a mouse named Squeaky. They were enemies.
Daily

Squeaky

used

to

come

and

drink

Clawys

milk.

Once both Clawy and Squeaky were sleeping. When they got up they were in a place
with dry trees and a cold weather. In front of them stood a bunny and he said
Hello! we have bought you here because our queen Beauty is caught by a witch,
Rosanna and only you can help us. Ill be your guide. They thought for a moment
but then they agreed.

They rested at night but woke up early morning.

The

rabbits name was Binki and he told them that they will start their journey from the
yellow road and then will pass the dead forest. They started their journey and soon
they met a goblin. He gave them a teddy bear and they took it. Then they came to
the dead forest, full of dead trees and muddy pools. Suddenly Squeaky fell in one
of the muddy pools. He kept on falling for hours and finally he reached the ground
but there was no mud down. It was simply a normal ground without any mud. There
Squeaky was alone, it was a deserted place. He walked a little and saw a plant. He

bounced on it and the plant grabbed Squeaky so hard that it was even hard for him
to breath. Then a women with a cone shaped hat and a blackish blue overcoat or it
looked more like an ugly gown came. She had dark makeup in fact black make up.
While Clawy and Binki were deep in thought that what would happen to Squeaky?
The woman was a witch and she said that she would use Squeaky for her new spell.
Though Clawy was Squeakys enemy but they had grown together and were best
friends in childhood, therefore he got worried. Binki saw a button on the teddy
bear. He tapped on it and the teddy bear showed Squeakys state. They had to
save Squeakys life. They jumped in the mudpool and without fearing the plant or
the witch. They went inside. As soon as they saw the witch putting poor Squeaky in
the cauldron, Clawy jumped on the witch with full might and Squeaky fell from the
witchs hand to the cauldron. Clawy pinned the witch to the ground. She broke into
pieces because of her fatal weakness, her elbows hit the ground hard. They were
not strong like her other body parts. As soon as she died the cauldron disappeared.
Slowly the area became green and it looked like heaven and the queen was now free.
Actually the queen Beauty was the goblin but it had been cursed. Now Squeaky and
Clawy became friends again. Squeaky was also sorry for drinking Clawys milk.

9. The Summer Camp

It was Dannys first day at his summer camp. His dad dropped him and Danny met
his instructor, Jenny. They slept and woke up early morning. They fished where
there were thousands of fishes swimming.

There were fat, thin, small, and big

fishes. There was a cave nearby but they were not allowed to go inside. They
enjoyed the day very much. It had been a terrific day, but soon they had to sleep.
There were stories that a family of ghosts lived in the cave. At midnight Dannys
best friend came and he said lets go to the cave, it will be a lot of fun. Danny didnt
want to go but he was forced to go. There were sounds coming from the cave and
as soon they entered the cave light shone on their faces. After sometime they saw
five white figures, they became scared but the ghosts were also looking scared. So
Rony,

said

hello.

Danny move a little in front but fell in a deep hole. Finally he landed the floor with
a Dhummm!!! He balanced after sometime. Then a ball fell on his head and broke
open. The letter inside it said you will find a sword, it will help you. Danny went
forward and found a sword and took it. Suddenly a dragon came but before it could
attack Danny, he thrust the sword into its skin. It fell dead but shortly the dragon

blasted bam ban bam ban!

Then he found a pearl (inside the dragon when he

blasted), it was a giant pearl.

Soon Danny knew what to do with it because of

another letter which said Give the pearls to the ghosts. Danny saw a button on the
pearl and he pressed it. The moment he pressed it he was out of the hole. He gave
the pearl to the ghosts and they immediately turned into humans. They thanked to
both the boys because they had broken their curse.

10. Fairy Land

Once there was a girl Delphie. She had a wonderful life but one day her mother
died. After some days, her father married again and Delphies step mother came.
When Delphie was five years old, her mother had given her a locket which took her
to fairy land. Whenever she felt sad she went there. She still had it. After a year
of his marriage, Delphies father died. Then her step mother changed, she became
worse. One day her step mother became so ruthless that she told Delphie to clean
a whole three storeyed house. As days went by, Delphies life turned into hell. One
day at night she was thinking that Fairy land was such an extra ordinary place. Just
then,

she

twirled

in

the

air,

Fairy

Dust

covered

her

. She was going to fairy land. But how? She go there only when she wished. Never
mind, she was quite excited.

When she reached there, she found dead leaves

everywhere. Though it was summer season it looked like winter. She went to her
friend, Laila. She looked worried. Laila asked

What has happened? Laila told

Delphie that princes CC (Cruel Cella) had taken the sun of the summer season for
magical light. We have to bring the summer back or the people will die. We will

definitely succeed. She has a ball and she stores everything inside it and may be
the sun too. But she always keeps it with herself by minimizing it and putting it in
her lock without the sun rays, she can destroy the kingdom easily, we have three
days time else fairy land will be destroyed. Cruel Cella will not win, I swear said
Delphie but where is her castle? Laila told that her castle is far away in the cruel
forest. How can we reach there? Asked Delphie. We can reach there by a dudul
rocket that we can find near the market. They went to the market and bought the
dudul rocket. Princess Laila couldnt come because of her other work. She told
Delphie that when she would reach the cruel forest she would have to get out from
the dudul rocket and climb the hills. The castle is on the hill. Delphie sat inside the
dudul rocket and Laila gave her a mirror too which she would use as a mobile phone.
Then the rocket flew high up in the sky and soon the rocket was just a small dot in
the sky for Laila. Some hours later, the creepy and Scary Cruel Forest was seen by
Delphie.

reached the tip of the mountain and saw a large, huge castle. But how would she get

heard by the witch. She came to see what had happened. Delphie quickly hid in one
of the cupboards. She was breathless, hungry and tired. After some time CC went
from the kitchen and Delphie came out. She couldnt be like this, she had to do
something. In the corner of the room was a large cupboard she opened it and saw
CCs Servants uniform. She wore it to hide herself and the best part was that
there was a mask in the uniform. At midnight when CC slept, Delphie quietly crept
inside and press her fingers on the locker.

But the ball didnt come out of it.

Suddenly the phone (mirror) rang and CC woke up. Laila told that the news had
come that CC has given the ball in which there was the sun to her brother CD (Cruel
David).

Meanwhile CC stood up and started running to catch Delphie. But Delphie ran at her
full speed and climbed up the chimney to go out. She jumped in the rocket behind
the bush and Vroom Vroom Zoom the rocket shot up. She stopped in the toadstool
village and asked the brownies that did they know where was CDs castle? But they
didnt know. So she went to the giants but even they didnt know. Then she went to
the cartoons, she fell on some flowers and the surface went down. It went deeper
and deeper in the ground.

When it stopped there came a man inside the

underground room and on his cap was written CD. So he was CCs brother. He tied
Delphie on a wheel chair and went to the balcony. He didnt tell his plan but it was
written on his To Dos list.

He was going to use the sun to destroy Fairy Land

Delphie couldnt just sit down. The mirror Phones end was quite pointed and she
managed to cut the rope with it. Then she walked to CD silently but tripped and CD
fell down. This caused pressure on his belt and the ball came out from it. It burst
on the ground and the sun brightened up in the sky. The trees became green, the
birds chirped. The sun was out and therefore CC and CD were exposed to heat.
They got burnt and died. Then Delphie went back to Laila. Laila said that if Delphie
wished she could stay here forever, it would be fun. Delphie agreed and now she is
the happiest girl ever.

11. The Trip

Mr. David turned the pages of his newspaper and saw that a new planet has been
discovered

but

no

one

has

gone

there

yet.

The best part was that there was oxygen there. He thought that why shouldnt
they go. But they needed a rocket for that and it was easy because Mr. Lucifer, a
scientist was Mr. Davids friend. Mr. David asked him for a rocket and Mr. David
with his whole family went to sky. Phooey! Soon they were in the dark space with
thousands of asteroids and stars around, Mrs. And Mr. David were the two pilots
and were working hard to save themselves from asteroids. They were concentrating
on the map but just then an asteroid hit their rocket. The back part of the rocket
got damaged. Luckily the children were saved but the rocket was going up and down
circling the sky and wand, then whoosh it landed on a planet. It was sizzling hot.
They quickly went to the edge which was a little cooler but still hot. Rosa, Mr.
Davids daughter suggested an idea to jump on a planet just below this planet or
quite soon they will turn into ash. They held each others hand and jumped but
Danny, Mr. Davids son fell down. Luckily he was saved by another planet and that

planet was neither cold nor hot. The planet on which the rest of the family was
there was freezing so they jumped again on the planet on which Danny was. They
were having problems to breathe before but this planet was full of oxygen. It was
the new planet. They climbed on the small hills of the planet. They played in the
small mud pools. They enjoyed and enjoyed until they were so tired that they were
not able to move. They slept and woke up late in the morning. They were hungry
and thirsty. They wanted food, they wanted water, and they wanted to survive. Mr.
David went to find food for his family. He had to walk a long way but finally he got
many fruits which served them as water and food both. Now the question was how
to go back.

Then they started to find a way to go back and saw four dragons

playing. They had wings Rosa went to them and asked that would they drop them
back home. They were very friendly and readily agreed. They started flying and
said that they were happy to give them a lift. They flew and flew as earth was
quite far. Slowly the dragons wings became smaller and smaller. After sometime it
was nothing more than a white dot.

They told the family that they are having

shortage of water and because of it our wings are becoming smaller. We cant fly
now or else they will be damaged. They were now hopping from one planet to other
but what else could they do? Because of hopping so much they started to have
swollen feet.

They were limping.

Then suddenly Rosa tripped and she didnt

remember that she had put a fruit in her bag which went up when she tripped. One
of the dragons quickly held it and each dragon took a bite. Then Swoosh one of the
dragons went down and made Rosa sit on its back and with Rosa came up again. The
dragons saved Rosas life! Even though they are portrayed as ferocious animals they
are quite helpful.

Now their wings grow little larger and they again took off

towards their destination. They flew fast but how much time could one bite of a
fruit can help. Again slowly and slowly the wings grew smaller. Now how could they
bring more water? They sat on a planet and thought but couldnt get any way out.
They were sad and weak. Suddenly all the sadness went away. Do you know why? It

was raining. They danced in the rain. Their problems were over. They sang a song
together which was
Everyone hop, everyone sing
Hop with us, sing with us
Rain we love!
Truly more than a dove!
It saved our life. It was lovely, isnt it? They just sang the Rocky rock music from
Rock band. Its amazing. After cheering and spending some happy moments, they
once again flew and this time nothing bad happened. It was just perfect. When
they arrived on Earth.

Mr. Davids family gave the dragons a treat with milk,

cookies, noodles, cake, chicken, chips, fishes, honey, salad and much more. It was
party to be remembered. The dragons went away after the party and do you know
what were their names? Nor do I Oops! We forgot to ask their names. But dont
worry the way the world is changing, soon you will book a flight to mars or may be
Venus and you can find the dragons in the space.

12. Tulip
Once, there was a boy who had a flower pot in which grew the lovely tulips. He took
care of it very much. He daily watered it, and used to put it in the sunlight. He
used to love it dearly. He was very fond of it. He had many other flower pots too in
which there were roses, daisies, hibiscus, petunia, lotus, cactus, lilies, jasmines, nine
o clock plant but he didnt like any one of them as much as he liked the tulip. The
other flowers were very said. They were so beautiful, everyone liked them but why
didnt their master liked them?
They were extremely beautiful. Their master was always busy with the tulip that
he never got time for them. Gradually they became dull and their leaves lost its
colour. Their lovely flowers were slowly dying and their master David didnt mind.
The tulips were alive which meant all to David.

them from their roots and gave them to his cat, Jinki. They no more had life, they
were dead. It was a sad moment but not for David. It was in fact a happy moment
for David because after eating the flowers his cat was sleeping. Thus he was free
which meant he would spend some time with tulip. It was a perfect evening for

David. He soon had to go for supper but he didnt want to be parted from the Tulips
so he had his supper with it. It was a tasty supper for him and Jinki too. Then he
went to sleep and there too he took the plant and when he got up the tulip had died
because of no fresh air during the night. Do you know what he did with it? He
didnt give it to Tinki instead he put it in a heap of cotton and buried it in the soil.
He had made a cemetery for the tulip plant! Oh my god! He had given other plants
to Jinki and a cemetery for tulip. How he did this to other plants? He had to be
taught a lesson. Once again, night came David slept and when he woke up he was in a
farm full of veggies.

He was afraid because how could he come so far while

sleeping. It cant be true, it was impossible. He had to find out where he was or
else he could never go back. He got up determined to go back home and he started
walking. He didnt found the place was much friendly .A step forward, he felt even
more scared. Suddenly he stepped into a garden full of flowers and he felt a lot
better. In his heart a new hope had grown. Then he heard heavy footsteps. No,
not like a person tapping, it felt like two huge trucks. They were not toy trucks but
very huge trucks. He turned back but he could see nothing more than few plants.
Amazing! The flowers just looked like Davids dead flowers but not tulip. He kept on
walking and walking, but the garden didnt end. He again and again heard the tapping
sound but when he turned around everything was normal except one thing, every
time he turned back the same plants were there just behind him. It was indeed a
thing to be frightened of. He was sweating. His legs got bruised and paining. When
he couldnt tolerate any further he sat down under a tree and unbelievably the
flowers were in front of him. Was his head spinning or had he gone mad? Just then
the eight plants stuck together and turned into a huge plant. It then held him. They
put him in a cage and told that they were the plants which he had given to his cat
when they were half alive. They told him that they would kill him after an hour. He
shouted and shouted. He was afraid and when he opened his eyes again he was in his
bed, cuddled up nicely in his blanket. He ran outside to see his plants they were

dying but still in their flower pot. After that he took great care of the other
plants too and they all brightened up. It was now a beautiful collection of flowers
and he did not do partiality now. Each flower was now equal for him. You should
hurry up to see his collection. Rush!

13. 21st Centurys Snow White

Once there was an ugly princess named Snow White. Her mother and father had
died and her step mother was very kind and beautiful. Snow White had a magical
mirror from whom she used to ask, who is the prettiest in the whole world? It
always said your step mother, your majesty. Snow Whites jealousy got stronger
and she ordered a soldier to kill her step mother and fetch her brain. The soldier
didnt

want

to

do

this

but

he

was

forced

to

do.

So he took the Queen to the forest and tried to kill her but by her luck she
escaped. While running she found a huge house, ten times the size of her palace.
She knocked and went inside. She saw chairs which were so big that she couldnt
believe her eyes. She went inside and saw seven huge beds. She was feeling very
tired and sleepy that she fell fast asleep. She didnt know that it was a giants
house and when they came they heard the story and allowed her to live in their
house. One day, Snow White came to know that the queen was alive and so she
disguised herself as a child.

She tried to make her eat a poisonous pear but

mistakenly she fell down and the pear fell into her mouth. She fell asleep for her
entire life. The queen lived happily ever after with the giants.

14. The Handicapped Girl

Once there was a girl named Jenny. She was very rich, pretty and kind but one
thing was very sad about her. She was handicapped. She was always worried and
sad about it. The other children teased her but. No one could compete her. She
was a millionaire too. She tried to walk daily but she couldnt. She wanted to run.
She wanted to hop, she wanted to play but without legs she could do none of these.
Daily she sighed about it why couldnt she move, what had she done, what had made
her handicap, why? Oh why, daily these questions went round and round inside her
head. A night, a beautiful unicorn came, on which sat an angel. Three more baby
unicorns

were

behind

them.

They had a pretty, little, blue horn on their foreheads and the big unicorn had a
pink one. There white body shone in the darkness. Their blue eyes looked like lapis
lazuli. Three unicorns picked Jenny up and made her sit on the big unicorn. Then
they shot up high in the sky from the window and the angel explained Jenny that
God wanted to have a private talk with her.

She was shocked how could it be

possible? Why would God want to talk to her? She felt dizzy. Is it possible? But

before she could think of the answer, she became unconscious. When she came to
her senses a large figure was standing in front of her. Oh my gosh! It was God.
She asked why had he called her here? God said, To tell you the right thing. You
always think that why have I not given you proper legs? then God asked Jenny to
look at a screen. Then he showed Jenny some pictures of people. Some were poor,
some had mental disability, some had physical disability and there were hundreds of
sad pictures. Some were extremely heart breaking and others were not less than
Jennys. God explained to her that everyone had different problems, there is no
one who doesnt have any problems. So we should never feel odd. Just remember
that I am with everyone who is right. Jenny had now understood. Now she was not
the old sad Jenny but a new one who was jolly and full of hope. Seeing the new
Jenny everyone stopped teasing her and soon she had lots of friends who helped
her and cheered her up. Today she is an awesome singer and an ideal for everyone
who has a disability. Remember nobody is perfect.

15. A True Friend

We all have many friends but still we always feel that half of them are not true
friends. Is it so easy to get true friends and the answer is a big no. In fact one
true friend is better than hundred false friends. A true friend is the one who
guides you, one who helps us when we are in need, someone who doesnt only think
for himself. Once, there were two girls, they were very pretty and rich. Everyone
wanted to be their friend. Just because they were pretty or because they were
rich. Both the twins had a best friend. The twins names were Jenny and Elizabeth.
Jennys friend Clara was helpful kind and very nice to her while Elizabeths Noriika,
was also good. She was pretty sure that she was a good friend but Norika never
helped her. One day Elizabeth and Jenny were driving a cycle and with a thud they
fell down. Their knees got under a tree, their legs were soaking with blood. Such a
horrible site, but luck was with them and so their parents soon came and helped
them

to

the

house.

They were placed on the beds but their legs were twitching and hurting. The whole
system had gone upside down and it was paining. It felt like they were dying. What

more can I say? It was a pain which couldnt be expressed. At night it became a
little better but when they woke up in the morning it was worse than before. Do
you know why? Actually they had never saw anything like that. Wasnt that weird
and a little funny too? But in Their legs had turned purple from down, then came
yellow and red after that stood pink and blue and in the last was black! reality it
was quite a serious problem and most of all it was paining tremendously. Their legs
had swollen and were looking almost a baby elephants leg. While their body looked
thin and weak. Their legs were clumsy and they were feeling stiff. It was looking
like they had stuffed their pajamas with cotton. Oh! My, so sad! It was a horrible
site! Their parents were worried too. To have it cured they went to the doctor.
The doctor was also confused. What was the problem? The first doctor fainted
seeing it. Then the next doctor also didnt understand what actually the cure was
but after a tremendous amount of research he told that the disease was rainbonia.
In it a certain part of our body swells and changes colour. After that it was quite a
long process then the doctors were all researching to find the cure. The girls had
to be there for a long time and were observed. No doctor was able to find the cure.
The girls had a dangerous operation and that time Jennys friend Clara was always
there to help. They even had surgeries. What a painful thing that was. It felt like
someone had crushed their bones under the truck. They were given injections to
make them sleep. As I said it was a long process and truly a period of pain. Their
each day brought a new hope. Jennys best friend, Clara was always there to help
her, support her while Elizabeths friend was nowhere to be seen. She was happy
and busy in her own life without any sorrow for Elizabeth. Soon after lots of
research a doctor named Andy discovered that there was no cure for this disease
but still Clara always helped Jenny. Elizabeth was left alone because as soon as
Norika saw Elizabeths state she left.

16. Bumpy the Bunny in the Ball

Once there was a pair of twins. One was a girls and other was a boy. They had cute
names which were Ely and James. James was very naughty and a bad boy while on
the other hand Ely was a hardworking and sincere child. Once the whole family went
for a picnic, where they had heaps of fun. They played on lots of swings (on seasaw, the most as it was their favourite). It was a lovely day for all of them until
James ate all the lunch, do you know how much? Just have a look.
1. Chocolates
2. Rice balls
3. Meat sandwiches
4. Potato sandwiches
5. Cheese sandwiches
6. All the cookies
7. Cake
8. Wafers
Gosh! He must have had a big belly. When Ely became angry, he pushed her in the
lake. Ely managed to get out and with her came a little ball, stuck to her clothes.
It was with Ely before James recognized it. James quickly but carefully picked up
the ball and kept it in his pocket. When they arrived at home they freshened up
and obviously James didnt have his dinner. There were two reasons
1.

He had eaten so much

2. He wanted to examine the ball.

It was a bright, yellow ball with the loveliest blue spots but it was a very small, little
ball (but the prettiest one he had ever seen).

After examining it for an hour,

James eyes dropped and he went to sleep. His hands were still on the ball. The boy
was lazy too (he got up at 12.00 p.m. in the afternoon). He had to be always forced
to get up daily. His daily routine goes like this.

What a time table! At the time of doing naughty things, he got a fantastic idea
(fantastic, just for him) he could give that little ball to his sister on her birthday
(which was tomorrow). Ely was very excited for the next day. In morning, each
member of her family gave her gifts. Father gave her piano, while mother gave her
a watch James gave a little ball. In afternoon Ely had a gorgeous party with her
friends. They ate yummy things and played funny, exciting and lovely games. Her
cake had the shape of a fairy. It was a party definitely to be remembered.

Her best gift was her parents gift and worst was definitely the one her brother
gave. The ball was pretty but it was a little old and very small. Night came and the
joy was over. She observed the ball all night and when it was 2.00 a.m. Ely held it
up. The ball broke open and from inside hopped a cute, little pinkish bunny. The
rabbit suddenly said hello, which was indeed a shocking news. Before Ely fainted,
rabbit told her that he had come from Rabbitatia. It is an area in the park which is

magical and protected by a shield so that no human being cant see it. One day my
aunt called me to a party. As she is a pretty goldfish, she lives in water. I couldnt
exist in water so I went inside the water through a big small ball. I was just going
to arrive at my lovely aunts place when you dropped and destroyed my trip. Oh! I
am really sorry actually I never knew there is anything like this too. I am really
ashamed and sorry because of what I did. If I had known then I would have surely
left it and not let it come with me. How can I help you now? Please tell The rabbit
said that he will forgive Ely if she would put him back in the water from where he
was taken. The very first thing in the morning she did was to take the bunny in the
park. There bunny gave her a wish, a wish from which she could make things come
true.

She wished that she had a best brother in the world. Her wish totally

changed David and thus today she has a lovely brother, James.
