DETERMINACIN IN VITRO DE LA
ACTIVIDAD FOSFATASA ALCALINA DE
LAS CLULAS PULPARES EXPUESTAS
A TRES CEMENTOS ENDODNTICOS
INTRODUCCIN
El xito biolgico y clnico del recubrimiento
pulpar radica en la induccin del potencial
dentinognico de las clulas pulpares para
formar una capa mineralizada denominada
puente dentinal (1), para la preservacin
de la vitalidad pulpar, disminuyendo la
sensibilidad y el dolor, generando mnima
respuesta inflamatoria, y ausencia de signos
radiogrficos de distrofia pulpar (2). Los
materiales para recubrimiento pulpar directo
deben controlar la infeccin, tener una
adherencia estrecha a la dentina para prevenir
microfiltracin, ser de fcil manipulacin
y finalmente permitir la formacin de una
barrera de tejido mineralizado (3).

RESULTADOS
Considerando la heterogeneidad de la
varianza, se hizo necesaria la aplicacin
de una transformacin logartmica (ln) a
los datos. Segn la prueba de Levene esta
transformacin permiti su homogenizacin
(P = 0.348).
