Comments by Principal:
This year Mark has really brought things together. It has I think been a rewarding one for both him and
me. Mark said it well last week when he shared that he had learned that the starting point for him to be
a ministry to both students and fellow teachers is at his greatest points of weakness. Christ has used
Marks struggles over the years to really enable him to make a difference in the lives of others. Few
teachers will have evaluations completed where so many categories are marked as exemplary. Mark
has built a solid portfolio of work and become an established and vital part of our community. As I
peruse the rubric, I certainly see areas that Mark can continue to grow and improve, and I am excited to
see what new goals he sets for himself for the coming year.

Assessment domain: Mark has begun the process of aligning assessments with standards. This will take
some time and is a goal for Mark for the coming year. I have rated subcategories as effective. I think
that that is fair based on the circumstances.
