ON THE WAY TO JEONJU

On the way to Jeonju

In a beautiful bus
I saw there next to me
Beautiful Korean lass
She was silent and serious
As we started moving on the bus
I wondered if she knew Jesus
And about the atoned cross!
On the way to Jeonju
In a sophisticated bus
I saw there next to me
Beautiful Korean lass.
Her countenance was graceful and serious
As I examined her face being curious
I didn’t know her Mal to express
My concern whether she was saved
In the Khosok Doro I got a phone call
It was from Honolulu USA of my pen pal
He asked me “Hey how is the news of Nepal?”
I said, “It’s very good and I am inside bus mood”
“Ok Pastor, I shall make a call u again tomorrow
We shall exchange our happiness and sorrow.”
The city of Jeonju came soon in the light
As I was still thinking of her in the noon’s night
Like a cat silently she walked past me and stood
Before me in a happy, gentle and smiling mood
And said, “Hey let us have some food
Because you are in my neighborhood
When I saw you first I misunderstood
Conceived you were also Korean brood
I asked her in suspicion why should she pay
A due attention to an alien wretched like me
She said,” brother it is our age old warm tradition
To welcome every guest with heart not a lip fashion
As we entered the hall of a classical restaurant
Just to exchange our short journey experience
I asked her how she knew so fluently English
She quoted, “I was in the States for five years.”
As I was gulping the khimchi up
I talked few but responded her up
I asked, “Do you know the Prince of Peace
And have you given Him your heart with a holy Kiss?”
“No, not exactly,” she said, “I am a Mormon.”
Are you a pastor? What is your next sermon?

Yes, I am. I serve the almighty God

And share his Word to the people in this World
Hearing your faith stance I am undaunted and bold
Still we can have table talk and open discourse

1
About the true salvation and its true source
Did you see me before? Did you know my first sermon?
You are still my friend even if your faith school is Mormon
Whom you believe and what you practice is life’s another part
True religion is by birth encoded in every human’s warm heart
While seeking the light some astray and some find whom to give their heart.
My next sermon is about the king who wanted to transplant his heart
Pretending thus he wanted to test his subjects’ true heart.
By faith standard and our God perception stance
We are far away in antipode, so far distance.
As the final cup of coffee was being sipped
The smart lass sank in her deep thoughts
“I heard you speaking in Mapo Holiness Church
I was there one Sunday with my friend George
Your sermon was on John 1:12 and 3:16
You were addressing a congregation of teens!
How did you become the member of Mormon
Didn’t you get any fellowship to hear a sermon?
By association I did become a member of Mormon
For none told me about Jesus nor told any sermon!
Brother see you in Seoul now let me say you bye
Nodding my head I said “Ok now I am your Dai*
This is my homepage and you can hear my teachings
They are simple and not didache like confounding!
