The model for USA and Canada: One blade of the plug is wider than the
other for the purpose of safety and will fit into the power outlet only one
way. If you are unable to insert the plug fully into the outlet, contact your
dealer.

NOTICE FOR THE CUSTOMERS IN THE UNITED STATES AND
CANADA
Use only a lithium ion type battery pack NP-F10/F20/F30. This unit
cannot be used to charge a Ni-cd type battery pack.
Attach the battery pack firmly.
Charge the battery pack on a flat surface without vibration.
Remove the supplied connecting cord (DK-115) from this unit. If not
removed, charging is not possible.
Charging temperature
The temperature range for charging is 32F to 104F (0C to 40C).
However, to provide maximum battery efficiency, the recommended
temperature range when charging is 50F to 86F (10C to 30C).

You are cautioned that any changes or modifications not expressly
approved in this manual could void our authority to operate this
equipment.
Note:
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a
Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits
are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful
interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses,
and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in
accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio
communications.
However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a
particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference
to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the
equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the
interference by one or more of the following measures:
Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to
which the receiver is connected.

Nutilisez que des batteries au lithium-ion NP-F10/F20/F30.
Ladaptateur/chargeur ne peut pas tre utilis pour charger une batterie
au nickel-cadmium.
Fixer bien la batterie.
Chargez la batterie sur une surface plane et sans vibrations.
Dbranchez le cordon de liaison fourni (DK-115) de ladaptateur/
chargeur, sinon la recharge ne sera pas possible.
Temprature de recharge
La batterie peut tre recharge une temprature comprise entre 32F et
104F (0C et 40C). Cependant, pour que son efficacit soit optimale, il
est conseill de la recharger entre 50F et 86F (10C et 30C).
Divers
La plaque signaltique indiquant la tension de fonctionnement, la
consommation lectrique et dautres informations lectriques se trouve
sous ladaptateur.
Une quantit ngligeable dlectricit circule dans ladaptateur/chargeur
secteur sil reste branch sur la prise murale.
Dbranchez ladaptateur/chargeur secteur de la prise murale si vous
navez pas lintention de lutiliser pendant un certain temps. Pour
dbrancher le cordon secteur, tirez sur la fiche. Ne tirez jamais sur le
cordon.
Nutilisez pas ladaptateur lorsque le cordon est endommag, ou sil est
tomb ou a t endommag.
Evitez que des objets mtalliques ne touchent les parties mtalliques de
lappareil ou de la plaque de connexion. Un court-circuit pourrait se
produire et lendommager.
Veillez ce que les contacts soient toujours propres.
Ninstallez pas la batterie rechargeable de biais quand vous lutilisez.
Une utilisation incorrecte de la batterie rechargeable peut endommager le
connecteur de ladaptateur/chargeur secteur.
Ne pas dmonter ni modifier lappareil.
Ne pas appliquer de chocs mcaniques lappareil ni le laisser tomber.
Quand lappareil est utilis, il devient chaud. Cest tout fait normal.
Ne pas laisser ladaptateur prs dun rcepteur AM, car il perturbera la
rception AM.
Ne pas entreposer ladaptateur dans les endroits suivants:
extrmement chauds ou froids
poussireux ou sales
trs humides
exposs des vibrations.
Ne pas utiliser le cordon de liaison fourni DK-115 avec un autre type
dadaptateur/chargeur ou de chargeur de batterie auto. Le DK-115 ne
fonctionne normalement que lorsquil est utilis avec cet adaptateur.
En cas de problme, dbranchez ladaptateur secteur et contactez votre
revendeur Sony.

When the CHARGE lamp goes out, normal charge is completed (Normal
charge). For a full charge, which allows you to use the battery longer than
usual, leave the battery pack in place for approximately one hour (Full
charge).
Remove the battery pack when required. It can be used even if the charging
is not completed.

Remarques
Notes
When a fully charged battery pack is installed, the CHARGE lamp will
once light, then go out.
If the CHARGE lamp does not light or flash, check that the battery pack is
correctly attached to the AC adaptor/charger. If it is not attached it will
not be charged.
When you charge, disconnect the connecting cord DK-115, or turn off the
connected video equipment.
NP-F10
Remove the battery pack from this unit, then install the same battery
pack again.
