Aginova Inc., a sensor technology company, announced the

launch of iCelsius Pro, designed
to extend iPads by employing a
temperature probe to convert
iPhone, iPad or iPod touch into a
digital thermometer. Available
for download from the App
store, the new product offering
from Aginova can read temperatures, create graphs, set up
alerts, store and email graphs.
A thermometer uses a liquid like
mercury or alcohol to measure
temperature which is provided
as a Fahrenheit or Celsius reading. The iCelsius Pro on the other hand reacts much faster to
changes, which enables it to
provide temperature readings
rapidly. The iCelsius Pro can provide accurate temperature readings in the
ranges of -22 degrees F to 302 degrees F (-30 degrees C to 150 degrees C)
and can be used for various applications. The iCelsius Pro uses a 4" stainless steel tip to report temperature readings through the iPad when the
probe is in thermal contact with matter.
Schools and Universities are showing a growing interest in the iPads and
iPod touches. The iCelsius Pro can be a great tool for K-12 education for
STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) subjects as teachers can
use their iPads and iPod touch to demonstrate lessons and conduct experiments. Flexibility in use of the iCelsius Pro means elementary school
teachers can help students understand the concept of temperature while
high school students can use the iCelsius Pro to carry out more advanced
experiments in the lab.
The iCelsius Pro can also be used in myriad other applications such as in
the kitchen (cooking), for monitoring baby health and baby food temperature and for other household situations. The iCelsius is easy to use as the
user simply has to plug the cable into the device and then download the
free application from the App Store.
Aginova is planning on releasing additional sensors which will propel it to
the position of leading provider of sensing technology for Apple devices.
Additional sensors which the company is planning of releasing include additionally enhanced flexible probes which can be used in cooking, baking,
grilling, for measuring meat or for checking oil temperature for frying.

iCelsius BBQ
Allows you to control the cooking of various pieces of meat, on
barbecues, or in ovens. Verify that the oil temperature is not too
high when deep frying.

iCelsius IP1
This inspection probe is built out of one piece of 316 stainless steel.
Easy to clean and very durable, the 2" long tip is stepped down to
0.063" in diameter. Ideal for Harsh environment temperature measurement, frozen food inspection, point of use inspection and audits.

iCelsius IP2
A general inspection probe for use in laboratories, soft food temperature inspection, field use by technicians performing calibration
or verification of critical equipment.

iCelsius iP3
Our smallest inspection probe, designed to quickly and accurately
measure temperatures of generally soft items. Perform fast and
easy in-process checks of raw materials, in-process materials, etc.

iCelsius RH
Digital, calibrated, temperature & humidity probe. The iCelsius T/RH
is invaluable for facility maintenance and utility technicians, HVACservice contractors, and specialists who assess indoor air quality
(IAQ).

All of our products come up with a self-installing iOS application directly accessible from the Apple App store for
free.
The iCelsius application is always evolving, now available
in English, French, German & Dutch and soon translated in
many more languages.
The application lets you view the temperature reading, record the data in a
self-contained relational database, send the information by email, CSV, export to Numbers application, as well as setup alarms (audio & phone calls).
