Details of Training and Experience.


1. Undergraduate.
Five and a half years of undergraduate medical education at the Christian Medical College and
Hospital .One year rotating internship in medicine, surgery, obstetrics and gynecology and
community medicine.
2. Post Graduate
Three years training in internal medicine with postings in specialties: cardiology, neurology,
nephrology, psychiatry and dermatology.
3. Specialty Training.
Two and a half years at the Westmead Centre Sydney Australia. Training in general hematology
and clinical management of patients with hematologic malignancy, coagulation disorders and
general hematology problems. Laboratory experience with immunophenotyping and soft agar
bone marrow cultures. Experience in clinical bone marrow transplantation and experimental work
on T cell depletion in marrow transplants in beagles.
