Stylish way

My target might be young, energetic and have great passion in fashion. They love to
attend literature and art entertainments. Office and the streets is their “Runway”, they are
their own designer and stylist.


They are willing to wear something new and edgy. Actually, they wear what they are.
They want to rock the world.

People, who love fashion, but not follow the latest trend with blind eyes. They have
their unique point of view in fashion. Sometimes, they will mix and match the vintage clothing with modern item.

They are cool, unique, and confident. They don’t afraid to pursue their own dreams;

even it’s hard to make it come true.

There is no rule for them about fashion. They have great taste, so that they wear what
they are. Ordinary, wearing the right garments makes them feel more confident.
The key words about their stylish way might be “Cool, urban, and chic“

[ Across the End ]
The world is being destroyed.
We can see the sign
But We cannot change anything
In the End,
The world is going to reborn again
And that’s our endless hope

The Introduction

It’s a collection, which was designed by my partner, Andy
Pan and I. We want to represent a concept about “The end of the
world is not the real end, if we keep our faith of hope, we believe
that the world will rebirth again”

When we started brainstorming about what topic we
should develop, we talked about now and future. It was 2012,
so we thinking about the Mayan calendar spoke about the end
of the world. We think if we can transfer this hot issue into a
fashion collection, it would be awesome. So we wrote a story line
to make us easier to develop our collection.

Through this process, I have learned a lot of things from
teamwork. Nobody is perfect, and I was really lucky that I can
work with Andy Pan, who has great taste in fashion. We were
happy to finish this collection together and to present this wonderful work to you. Hope you enjoy it.

Inspiration source


The main inspiration came from Mayan calendar’s prediction, which is about the end of world will
happen on December 22end, 2012. But we don’t think
so. That’s why we created a story for this collection. We
don’t think the world is going to be destroyed. So we
think we can across the end.

And we start wonder if the world will be destroyed, how can we notice that? Maybe there will start
with a sign to let us know. Then people might don’t take
it seriously. After that, the whole universe will deform
and we just can’t change anything. But we believe the
world will reborn again, that’s our endless hope.

[ We are Bone/Born as the Architectures ]
I’m walking in this ice-cold concrete jungle,
and just like part of them.
Our body composed by bones,
so do the architectures piece up the city.
Aren’t we the same?
This is a conversation between human’s bones
and the architectures, which designed by Santiago Calatrava.

The
Introduction

Talking about my graduated collection “We bone/born as the architectures”, the
reason that I develop this theme is about my
personal experience.

My collarbone broke in 2012’s summer,
and I had a Clavicle fracture surgical operation. The doctor put a steel plate to assist my
collarbone to grow directly. And it made me
start to thing about what’s the same and differences between human bodies and architectures. Bone to the human body, just like steel to
the architecture.

For me, graduated collection just like a
milestone, which is about my college life. And
on the other hand, clavicle fracture represented a landmark to my life, too. So I start
to thinking about why not combine these two
important events to commemorate my school
life. “Seize the moment” is one of the important elements in this collection.

During this process, I have learned
a lot of things and become more and more
confident to my collection. In my point of view,
I think the most important thing is that you
have to have a great passion in your collection. And you must be eager to show the best
of work through your collection. So let me
introduce my graduated to you proudly.

The
Inspiration
Source

The main inspiration came from my personal experience about clavicle fracture. And then I start to research
about bone and architecture’s construction.

As for the inspiration of the architecture, Santiago Calatrava’s architectural design inspired me a lot. The
reason I chose his works as the inspiration is that his design concepts like to choose human body’s details to develop
the appearances and structures of the architectures. I think it was the perfect choice for me.

So after decided that, I start to generalize identical concepts and structures between these two subjects.

Abstract Chaos
Inspiration:

Inspired by the graffiti and the modern abstract
art. Using digital print design as a media to present the
contemporary feeling, but also give some new idea of color
block design.

The flowing movement is the most important concept
of the contemporary, it changes time by time. The abstract
brush art just like the time flowing and twist all the things
together. Make everything become unique and won't happen
the same thing again.

Inspiration:

Main inspirations came from the black and white
photography. Less is more. Because of the Main color are
simple, so the design will be emphasised.

Strong cutting and using Luxury leather are the key
words for this collection. Using red color to highlight some
details. Metallic leather also gives some futuristic feeling
makes them become more modern and special.
