PRESENTATION

Managing a business, large or small, is no easy task, there are many decisions,
guide employee behavior and guide the company towards achieving the objectives.
To achieve this effectively, you need to set business policies.
Corporate policies are a very useful resource, allowing explicitly communicate the
basic principles of the company for decision making. This process should be
consistent with the overall objectives of the company, ie, the decisions taken
should be geared to achieving the goals set, otherwise, you will lose all the effort.
All business policy rests on the definition of the organization, ie its organizational
philosophy in its organizational culture and its management strategy, are already
the starting point for enterprise policy can provide the criteria for the management
of the company, allowing rightly make decisions at all levels.
To define business policies should have the following elements:
Company goals. By applying criteria of rationality and analysis for projecting
the results you achieve. This is trying to find a consensus between
organizational goals and individual goals-oriented decision making in the
company.
Company resources. Oriented rationality and recursion of them, looking for
their effectiveness in achieving the objectives and goals, through the
efficient allocation of resources.
The principles and organizational

values.

Leading

organizational

management to the efficient accomplishment of their objectives based on

the application of ethical and social values with the lowest cost of social
management both inside and outside the organization.

Should identify internal and external conditions of the company, to design

corporate policies consistent with these characteristics, which must retain the
following conditions:
1. All policies should contribute to the objectives of the company. Failure to
comply with this requirement, enterprise policy should be reassessed. In

organizations tend usually to set objectives, neglecting the establishment of

organizational policies, causing ambiguity and lack of clarity in the courses
of action of operations. In other companies despite having designed
corporate policies are are not subject to periodic analysis to establish their
redesign, and in cyclical time of great change, policies designed long ago
may be contrary to the objectives that have been set for meet new market
demands.
2. company policies should be consistent. Ie they do not contradict each other.
This issue occurs usually in companies where management and
administration is not clearly defined, and the changes presented in these
positions, corporate policies that contradict the policies already established
previously set forth, as well as different interests are handled by part of the
organization's policies and when no unified criteria organizational mission
and vision.
3. The business policy must be flexible. To adapt to new circumstances. The
flexibility of enterprise policies is one of the essential characteristics which
the difference of standards and rules, so that they can respond to changes
in the environment without going against business productivity and
competitiveness.
4. The business policies must be in writing. To avoid ambiguity and subjectivity
in their understanding
5. The business policy must be explicit. Making sure and clearly explain their
components,

where

the

business

manager

is

satisfied

that

their

subordinates know and properly interpret the meaning of policies

6. any policy must be controlled. Given that circumstances change and these
changes may become counterproductive policies

SCENARIOS

POSITIVE SCENARIO
If the company OBRACOM accepts the proposals we made them for
improvement, you would find at a competitive level with other companies,
since accommodate your beliefs, values, its mission, vision and see all the
strengths they have and which must seize him will be allowed to grow in the
market and could expand to be recognized, besides that their workers will
be able to be more comfortable working in a company that knows what it
does and so could increase their profits significantly.

REGULAR SCENARIO
In this scenario is where we place ourselves because the company heard
our proposals but few apply them and not others, which makes the company
does not have such a radical change and continues to be at the level it was,
does not help much paara grow as a company, but still on the market
remained stable

WORST SCENARIO
Failure to implement the proposals and do nothing for your business this
better and go improving continuously OBRACOM could close, say this in
bankruptcy because did not demand that expected and left without capital
by not know what you agree your company. that's why we recommend while
not implement all proposals, shooting into account as an example for
minimum OBRACOM begin to work where are your weaknesses and so be
competitive

Conclusions
CAHUANTZI RODRGUEZ DAVID:
I think that in industrial engineering, business policies are of great
importance for the successful development of a company. Since these can
be both guides and rules, which must not only abide by the workers, but
also the different departments in a company. Because we can do both a
policy of behavior and quality as a political turn warehouse or finished

product. One of the most important parts within the cusro views, was in
analysis of a problem within a company, and take from the general to the
particular, that based on this it is seeking a solution to the problem. We also
saw what a matrix analysis not only helped us see how this inside our
company, but rather than weaknesses have both internally and externally.
See how this company in compraracion other, in order to reach a decision
making process to solve these problems or weaknesses within a company.

HERNNDEZ CABALLERO MITZY ELIZABETH:

in my opinion the matter served me well since I helped reaffirm the matrices
already knew, but also taught me to be able to apply solutions to identify
problems. also that the sphere should be provided in English was a great
experience because it helps us to lose the fear of speaking English and
helps us improve.
the way in which the matter is imparted was very dynamic as we discussed
eachother and apply what we knew in a company, I really liked the art and
the way as imparted.
And explain how the mestra I liked and that I understood everything we said,
in conclusion for me was a good experience to take this kind of business
policy. how as I explain the mestra I liked and that I understood everything
we said, in conclusion for me was a good experience to take this kind of
business policy, took me many good things as the expertise creed applying
policies that must bear the parent company as well as to identify external
and internal problems
QUIROZ ORTIZ XAMAN-EK:

SOLORIO SNCHEZ DIEGO MICHELLE:

In sum, I consider this signature was useful because we learned how to

apply different policies in order to establish rules and regulations for different
companies, also using different tools to evaluate many aspects of the company:
economic, political, financial, its behavior, how the organization is working inside
itself,

its

weaknesses,

strengths,

opportunities

and

threats.

Having said this, I am giving my point of view about the signature we took in
English Language; it is useful because, for me, because I learned how difficult is to
present a project in other language, how to use different words or terms, how to
use it in a real situation what we are exposed as Engineers. However, I suggest
having an advance level of English if a student wants to take this class in other
language. In sum, it was perfect and satisfactory.

VELZQUEZ MORALES DANIEL MICHAEL:

Inside the company OBRACON it is very simple to identify the problem, but
applying the counterfoil SWOT we give ourselves story of what really
spending this one, the reason root of the problem.
The solution seems to be simple, but it is not like that it was going time and
effort; beginning for the creation of the safety department and hygiene up to
the training of the own personnel, it is a great challenge but that has to of be
carrying out immediately.

VICENTE CALVO ANA ELIZABET:

Corporate policy is an attitude, a lifestyle that requires dedication to act

based on observation of the future and a determination to constantly and
systematically plan as an integral part of management. It should also be

flexible to tap the knowledge about the environment, and have a systems
approach to guide a company for a while through its environment and
achieve the goals indicated.
Then businesswomen policy is strategic planning is the administrative
process to develop and maintain a viable relationship between objectives,
organizational resources and changing market opportunities, understand
that the purpose of this tool is the modeling and remodeling business and
products company, so that combine to produce a development and
satisfactory profits. And be aware of course you know the company and
make decisions in a changing environment.
