The equipment is designed to allow connection to an IT system (as defined by standard EN 60950 / IEC 60950 or IEC
60364-3).
See section 1.2 for information on accessing the connections.

Before proceeding, disconnect all power sources connected to the card.
Do not mix SELV (Safety Extra Low Voltage) and non-SELV circuits on the card outputs.

Make sure that the voltages and frequencies of the two sources S1 and S2 are identical.
Make sure that the voltages of the two sources S1 and S2 are the same as the rated voltage (380/400/415 V) of
Upsilon STS, otherwise see section 3.5 (Customization).

1 - Check that all the switches and circuitbreakers are open and check that the two
sources are energized (voltage present).
2 - Set circuit breakers Q4 and Q6 to the ON
position (position 1).
3 - Turn switch Q1BP to the ON position
(position 1). LEDs (23), (32) and (37) go on.
The load is supplied by Source 1 via the
bypass.
4 - Set switches Q1 and Q3 to the ON position
(position 1). LEDs (28), (30), (33) and (34) go
on.
5 - Turn switch Q1BP back to the OFF
position (position 0). LED (32) goes off.
6 - Set switch Q2 to the ON position (position
1). LEDs (29) and (31) go on.
The load is supplied by Source 1.

3.5 Upsilon STS customization
1 - Press the menu button (26).
2 - Select "Setup", then "Customization" using the function buttons (22) or .
3 - Confirm the order by pressing the function button (22) .
4 - Enter the password.
The password is the factory setting.
Select "Setup", then "Password" to personalize the password.
The monitoring parameters must be identical
for the two sources.
These parameters depend on the tolerances
of the connected loads.

J-BUS
communication card
Internal card implementing the J-BUS protocol on a serial link to supply the user with system
information.
Load
Manual bypass
Q1BP and Q2BP switches, accessible to the user, that may be used to directly supply the load
from Source S1 or S2. The bypass enables servicing on the equipment without interrupting the
supply of power to the load.
Normal mode
Operating mode during which the load is supplied by the preferred source.

La dtermination des protections et des cbles est donne au chapitre 6.1 (Annexes, spcifications techniques).
Le matriel a t conu pour permettre le raccordement selon un schma d'alimentation IT (dfini selon les normes
EN 60950 / CEI 60950 ou CEI 60364-3).
Pour accder aux raccordements, voir le paragraphe 1.2.

3.5 Personnalisation de Upsilon STS
1 - Appuyer sur la touche "menu" (26).
2 - Slectionner "rglages" puis "personnalisation" l'aide des touches de fonction (22) ou .
3 - Valider avec la touche de fonction (22) .
4 - Entrer le mot de passe.
Le mot de passe correspond la configuration usine.
Pour personnaliser le mot de passe, slectionner "rglages" puis "mot de passe".
Les paramtres lectriques de contrle sont
identiques sur les 2 sources.
Ces paramtres sont dfinis en fonction des
tolrances des quipements raccords.

By-pass manuel
Interrupteurs Q1BP et Q2BP manoeuvrs par lutilisateur, permettant dalimenter directement les
quipements par la source S1 ou S2. Le passage en by-pass manuel permet la maintenance de
