Here's a smoothie for fit a workman-like knitted jerkin with that new extra-length appeal.

** across remaining sts. 2nd row: Work in ribbing to within 2 sts from marker, then k 2 tog, slip marker, sl 1, k 1,
p.s.s.o., and continue in ribbing across. 3rd row: Work in ribbing to 1 st before marker, p 1, sl marker, p 1, and
work in ribbing to end of row. Repeat the last 2 rows once more. Bind off in rib-bing decreasing before and after
marker as before.
BACK NECKBAND With right side facing using No. 4 needles, pick up along back neck edge between
markers
Work in ribbing of k 2, p 2 for 5 rows. Bind off in ribbing. Sew shoulder seams.
ARMBANDS With No. 4 needles and right side facing, pick up along armhole edge
Work as for Back Neckband.
