Nestled along the coast of the Gulf of Tonkin, Ha Long Bay is one of the

east of Angkor Thom, Ta
Prohm Temple is a
breathtaking, ancient
destination. Founded in
1186 A.D. as a Mahayana
Buddhist monastery and
university, today the sight
is one of the most visited
areas in Cambodias Angkor
region. The temple is
overgrown with jungle
trees and moss, which
gives it a mysterious and
ethereal presence that
visitors love to photograph.

On your excursion through the Angkor region, be sure to see Banteay
Srei. The Hindu temple is smaller than the other sights at Angkor, but
makes up in magnificence what it lacks in stature. Banteay Srei is cut
from red sandstone, with intricate carving paying tribute to Shiva.
Almost every inch of the temple is covered in decoration, including
male and female gods and beautiful filigree work. Visitors come from
around the world to see the splendor of Banteay Srei.

Killing Fields are the site of
nearly a million executions.

memorials on the grounds and
pay respect to its victims. This

through history.

SA DEC, VIETNAM
Once you cross the border
into Vietnam, be sure to
see the quaint village of Sa
Dec, also known as Flower
City. Due to a favorable
local climate and fertile
soil, the village boasts the
most flower farms in South
Vietnam. Visitors can travel
nearby roads to see
farmland dotted with
exotic flowers, or simply
step into Sa Decs many
markets for a colorful and
aromatic experience.

The Xeo Quyt Forest (also called Rung Tram) is a vast swamp laid out
beneath a thick canopy of trees and vines. During the rainy season,
