and not facts
Belief- believing something is un-doubt ably true Religion- the belief in a spiritual existence Faith belief and religion are not the same things
Belief; intellectual concept, things we regard as true
Faith; a deeper kind of seeing, more than our physical senses, it affects how we see ourselves, who we are and where we are going. According to the catechism of the Catholic Church; faith is a gift of god. Faith is an authentically human act by which we trust god and his providence and love. Faith is the beginning of eternal life, the experience of friendship with god. Faith is our freely chosen habit of responding positively to god( true faith is not forced). Faith begins with god not us. Faith is a theological virtue(hope and love too). Theological means concerning god Virtue means a good habit or response God initiates, we respond(vocation) Belief(my faith demonstrates) less risky then faith(I believe) Religion= the particular way we like to express and organize our beliefs and faith Ones religion isnt the same as ones spiritually. Spiritually is how we prefer to live/ demonstrate our faith. Humanities relationship with god- judeo-Christians tradition belives= humans are made in the image and likeness of god. We possess a spiritual principal that is a reflection of god body and soul. Our minds have the ability to imagine god. Our hearts seek a relationship with god. Our souls long to be complete with god. God gives each of us a vocation or ones calling, purpose or destiny in life. Group conformity; to do what the group does, can be trivial or severe in nature(lose sense of identity). Necessary to belong
