We meet on the 2nd Saturday each month from 9-10:30am at Gander Mountain's employee training room
(100th & Grant Street in Thornton) to discuss politics. If you live in Adams County or Denver's northern
suburbs, come join us for lively spirited debate and to meet Republican movers and shakers.

So I said to him, "Barak, I know Abe Lincoln, and you ain't him."
Caption the past Republican presidents having a laugh in honor of the messiah's speech last evening. The original
artwork is copyright by Andy Thomas, who has paintings of all political persuasions, including the messiah.

Dr. Sam Vaknin is an Israeli psychologist and has an interesting view on our new president. Dr. Vaknin has written
extensively about narcissism.

Dr. Vaknin States "I must confess I was impressed by Sen. Barack Obama from the first time I saw him. At first I was
excited to see a black candidate. He looked youthful, spoke well, appeared to be confident - a wholesome presidential
package. I was put off soon, not just because of his shallowness but also because there was an air of haughtiness in his
demeanor that was unsettling.. His posture and his body language were louder than his empty words. Obama's
speeches are unlike any political speech we have heard in American history. Never a politician in this land had such
quasi "religious" impact on so many people. The fact that Obama is a total incognito with zero accomplishment makes
this inexplicable infatuation alarming. Obama is not an ordinary man. He is not a genius. In fact he is quite ignorant on
most important subjects."

Barack Obama is a narcissist.

Dr. Sam Vaknin, the author of the Malignant Self Love believes "Barack Obama appears to be a narcissist." Vaknin is a
world authority on narcissism. He understands narcissism and describes the inner mind of a narcissist like no other
person. When he talks about narcissism everyone listens. Vaknin says that Obama's language, posture and demeanor,
and the testimonies of his closest, dearest and nearest suggest that the Senator is either a narcissist or he may have
narcissistic personality disorder (NPD). Narcissists project a grandiose but false image of themselves. Jim Jones, the
charismatic leader of People's Temple, the man who led over 900 of his followers to cheerfully commit mass suicide and
even murder their own children was also a narcissist. David Koresh, Charles Manson, Joseph Koni, Shoko Asahara, Stalin,
Saddam, Mao,Kim Jong Ill and Adolph Hitler are a few examples of narcissists of our time.
All these men had a tremendous influence over their fanciers. They created a personality cult around themselves and
with their blazing speeches elevated their admirers, filled their hearts with enthusiasm and instilled in their minds a new
zest for life. They gave them hope! They promised them the moon, but alas, invariably they brought them to their
doom. When you are a victim of a cult of personality, you don't know it until it is too late. One determining factor in the
development of NPD is childhood abuse.

"Obama's early life was decidedly chaotic and replete with traumatic and mentally bruising dislocations," says Vaknin.
"Mixed-race marriages were even less common then. His parents went through a divorce when he was an infant (two
years old). Obama saw his father only once again, before he died in a car accident. Then his mother re-married and
Obama had to relocate to Indonesia, a foreign land with a radically foreign culture, to be raised by a step-father. At the
age of ten, he was whisked off to live with his maternal (white) grandparents. He saw his mother only intermittently in
the following few years and then she vanished from his life in 1979. She died of cancer in 1995".

One must never underestimate the manipulative genius of pathological narcissists. They project such an
imposing personality that it overwhelms those around them. Charmed by the charisma of the narcissist, people become
like clay in his hands. They cheerfully do his bidding and delight to be at his service. The narcissist shapes the world
around himself and reduces others in his own inverted image. He creates a cult of personality. His admirers become his
co-dependents. Narcissists have no interest in things that do not help them to reach their personal objective. They are
focused on one thing alone and that is power. All other issues are meaningless to them and they do not want to waste
their precious time on trivialities. Anything that does not help them is beneath them and do not deserve their attention.
If an issue raised in the Senate does not help Obama in one way or another, he has no interest in it. The "present"
vote is a safe vote. No one can criticize him if things go wrong. Those issues are unworthy by their very nature because
they are not about him. Obama's election as the first black president of the Harvard Law Review led to a contract and
advance to write a book about race relations.

The University of Chicago Law School provided him a lot longer than expected and at the end it evolved into, guess
what? His own autobiography! Instead of writing a scholarly paper focusing on race relations, for which he had been
paid, Obama could not resist writing about his most sublime self. He entitled the book Dreams from My Father.

Not surprisingly, Adolph Hitler also wrote his own autobiography when he was still nobody. So did Stalin. For a
narcissist no subject is as important as his own self. Why would he waste his precious time and genius writing about
insignificant things when he can write about such an august being as himself? Narcissists are often callous and even
ruthless. As the norm, they lack conscience. This is evident from Obama's lack of interest in his own brother who lives
on only one dollar per month.

A man who lives in luxury, who takes a private jet to vacation in Hawaii, and who has raised nearly half a billion dollars
for his campaign (something unprecedented in history) has no interest in the plight of his own brother. Why? Because,
his brother cannot be used for his ascent to power.

A narcissist cares for no one but himself. This election is like no other in the history of America. The issues are
insignificant compared to what is at stake. What can be more dangerous than having a man bereft of conscience, a
serial liar, and one who cannot distinguish his fantasies from reality as the leader of the free world? I hate to sound
alarmist, but one is a fool if one is not alarmed. Many politicians are narcissists. They pose no threat to others...They are
simply self serving and selfish.

Obama evidences symptoms of pathological narcissism, which is different from the run-of-the-mill narcissism of a
Richard Nixon or a Bill Clinton for example. To him reality and fantasy are intertwined. This is a mental health issue, not
just a character flaw. Pathological narcissists are dangerous because they look normal and even intelligent. It is this
disguise that makes them treacherous.
Today the Democrats have placed all their hopes in Obama. But this man could put an end to their party. The great
majority of blacks have also decided to vote for Obama. Only a fool does not know that their support for him is racially
driven. This is racism, pure and simple. The downside of this is that if Obama turns out to be the disaster I predict, he
will cause widespread resentment among the whites.

The blacks are unlikely to give up their support of their man. Cultic mentality is pernicious and unrelenting. They will
dig their heads deeper in the sand and blame Obama's detractors of racism. This will cause a backlash among the whites.

The white supremacists will take advantage of the discontent and they will receive widespread support. I predict that
in less than four years, racial tensions will increase to levels never seen since the turbulent 1960's.

Obama will set the clock back decades... America is the bastion of freedom. The peace of the world depends on the
strength of America, and its weakness translates into the triumph of terrorism and victory of rogue nations.

It is no wonder that Ahmadinejad, Hugo Chavez, the Castrists, the Hezbollah, the Hamas, the lawyers of the
Guantanamo terrorists and virtually all sworn enemies of America are so thrilled by the prospect of their man in the
White House. America is on the verge of destruction. There is no insanity greater than electing a pathological narcissist
as president.

Colorado Republican 2009 Agenda

Dear Colorado Republican Committee Leaders,

We are pursuing a very aggressive agenda for 2009 to lay the groundwork for the 2010 elections.

I have attached a memo from our executive director, Michael Britt, that details this agenda that I know you will find of great
interest.

We will focus on increasing Republican voter registration in conjunction with county leaders along with enhancing our ability
to communicate through new technologies. We will soon be announcing details of a Colorado Republican New Technologies
Forum to be held this spring.

We are already working with our Republican legislative leadership to recruit candidates across the state and we will be
conducting training sessions for those candidates.
Now that we have eliminated the nearly $600,000 debt that I inherited in 2007--fiscal responsibility has returned and
Colorado Republicans now do not owe anyone a dime!--we have the ability to pursue these efforts.

It has been an honor and privilege to serve as state chairman these past two years and I look forward to continuing to work
with you as chairman during the 2010 election cycle. Please contact me anytime at dickwadhams@yahoo.com or my cell 303-
903-7825 if you have any questions or concerns.

I look forward to seeing you at our Colorado Republican dinner featuring RNC Chairman Michael Steele on Friday, March 20
and the Colorado Republican State Central Committee meeting on Saturday, March 21. ***call Mary Dambman for tickets at
303-426-8776 or the CRC’s Elizabeth Adams at 303-758-3333***

Memo from Executive Director Michael Britt

Colorado Republican Committee's Top Agenda Items For 2009

During 2009 the Colorado Republican Committee (CRC) will focus its efforts on assisting our representatives in the
legislature and in Congress to defeat the tax and spend agendas of Governor Bill Ritter and President Barack Obama
during the 2010 election cycle.

The CRC made significant strides this past election cycle despite the backlash Republicans received across the country.
First and foremost, the CRC retired $600,000 of debt leftover from the 2004 and 2006 election cycles.

Notwithstanding the financial woes of the Party, the CRC had one of the top performing ground games in the country in
2008. Nationally the CRC ranked 3rd in the total number of phone calls and doors hit over the election cycle. We ranked
1st in the total number of doors hit and 5th in the number of total phone calls made during the election year. Our
program made over 2.4 million voter contacts from June 1, 2008 to November 4, 2008. This is an increase of over 95
percentage points from the State Party's Victory program of 2004. That means we made over 1.1 million more contacts
this cycle compared to the 2004 election cycle. The Rocky Mountain News even took note of our efforts in an article
titled, State GOP's turnout effort hailed: Party No. 1 in US for door knocked on, which was published on Tuesday,
December 2, 2008.

This was all made possible by the teamwork and coordination of our County Party leaders, activists and the CRC. These
open lines of communication between CRC and County Parties helped enhance and grow our party's ground game to
levels we have never seen before. The CRC will be looking to build off these successes in 2009 and 2010.

It goes without saying that communication is and always will be the number one priority of the CRC. From my campaign
experiences - communication is the difference between a successful campaign and a losing one. Therefore, the CRC will
not only look to enhance its communication efforts among County Party leaders, but we also look to enhance it among
party activists, as they are the life blood and future of our party.

Fundraising is just as important as communication. No campaign or political party can be successful without a solid
fundraising foundation. This past cycle, the CRC was able to run a very aggressive fundraising operation that helped
propel the party out of debt. This past year's fundraising has provided the CRC with a solid foundation to move the Party
forward.

Aside from communication and fundraising, the CRC's top agenda items in 2009 will be voter registration, candidate
recruitment, technology, messaging and trainings. Below I have gone into detail on each of these priority areas.

Voter Registration:

The CRC's number one priority in 2009, other than developing greater lines of communication with our County Parties,
will be voter registration. Nationally, as well as in Colorado over the past eight years, Republicans have lost their voter
registration advantage over Democrats. As a result, it is essential that all Republicans statewide from the local level, all
the way up to the statewide level, focus their efforts on voter registration. The CRC will be reaching out to our newly
elected County Party officers in an effort to help assist them in running a very aggressive voter registration program
within their home counties.

The first target group for our voter registration program will be people who just moved to Colorado or moved to a
different county within Colorado. The CRC has spent time targeting these individuals. We have found over 160,000
former Republicans that have moved to Colorado from another state or changed counties within Colorado and have
failed to re-register as a Republican. We have broken this list down by county and over the next few weeks, the CRC will
be sending this list out to their respective County Party officers. Voter registration will make the difference between
winning and losing in 2010, so this has to be a top priority for all Republicans.

Candidate Recruitment:

Candidate recruitment is always and should always be another top priority going into an off year. The CRC has been
conducting weekly meetings with the State House and Senate leadership to seek out and recruit top tier candidates for
2010. The CRC will also be seeking out advice and suggestions from County Party officers on potential candidates within
their respective counties. We need to focus on finding good Republican candidates to run at every level, from US Senate
to local offices statewide.

We also need to keep in mind that there are municipal races taking place this fall. Unlike previous years, the CRC will be
looking to provide a helping hand in these races in 2009.

Technology and New Technologies:

Over the past decade we have seen a great advancement in the way technology has been used in campaigns. This past
election cycle is a good example of how technology can be used to advance a candidate's message, as well as encourage
people to volunteer for one particular candidate or party. Unfortunately, for whatever reason, Republican's have fallen
behind the Democrats when it comes to using technology effectively in campaigning.

Nevertheless, the CRC over the past year has been spending a great deal of time and resources enhancing our
technology and new technologies at the Party. The CRC during the summer of 2008 revamped its website, created a
Facebook and YouTube Page. Additionally, we have grown our statewide e-mail database from 5,000 e-mails statewide
in 2007 to over 160,000 e-mails statewide in 2008.

Moving forward the CRC will be looking to enhance all its social networking capabilities by building upon our website,
Facebook and YouTube Pages, as well as looking to new avenues to send our messages out through texting and
Twittering.

When discussing new technologies, I'm reminded about a Wall Street Journal opinion piece written by my former boss
at the White House Karl Rove titled, 'How the GOP Should Prepare a Comeback.' Rove writes,

"New media requires attention. Younger voters are increasingly getting their information from the Web -- twice as many
18-24 year olds get their news online than from newspapers. Political Web 1.0 was about faster and easier
communications and Republicans had the advantage. Political Web 2.0 is about networking and Democrats grabbed the
lead. The party that figures out where Web 3.0 goes will grab the decisive high ground in high-tech warfare”
(Karl Rove, The Wall Street Journal, 12.11.2008)."

I believe Rove is spot-on in his analysis. The Party that figures out what Web 3.0 is in the coming years will have the
advantage going into the 2010 and 2012 election cycles. For that reason, the CRC will be hosting a 'New Technologies
Forum' here in Colorado.

We have invited former Michigan Republican Party Chairman and newly appointed Republican National Committee
Transition Co-Chairman Saul Anuzis as the headliner for this forum. Anuzis has recently been named by newly elected
Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele to head up the RNC's new technology team to help foster new
technology growth within the Republican Party.
This forum will be open to all Colorado Republicans. The goal of the forum will be to have an open dialog with Chairman
Saul Anuzis, as well as with other local technology consultants on what WE as a Party need to do to find Web 3.0. We are
hoping to have this event scheduled in the next few months.

Delivering the Message:

You need to have a solid message to win any argument. As Republicans, we always have the upper hand when it comes
to any political argument, as our principles are grounded in the common principle of freedom.

Thus, it is essential for the CRC to use and seek out every possible opportunity and avenue to get that message to
potential voters, especially unaffiliated voters. As noted before, the CRC will use its website, social networking pages
(Facebook, YouTube and Twitter), texting and e-mail blasting to deliver that message.

Along with e-mails and social networking, the CRC will be sending out a monthly newsletter (first issue will be sent out
on Tuesday, March 17th) that will focus on keeping party activists and other who might be interested in joining the party
informed. We are also in the process of developing a weekly talking points and action items memo that will be sent out
to our State Central Committee members. The talking points and action items memo will center on what's happening
during the State legislative session, as well as lay out action items for party loyalist and activists to take part in.

Trainings:

The CRC will be conducting training sessions for candidates, campaign managers/ staffers and county party officers in
2009. The candidate and campaign manager/ staffer trainings will be an extensive training. For candidates, this training
session will last for two days, walking candidates through fundraising, compliance and campaign finance laws,
grassroots operations and how to run a mail program. These are just a few of the course topics that will be taught at the
school. The candidate school will have a wide variety of instructors ranging from local and national campaign managers/
consultants to elected officials to provide each candidate in the school with an extensive and well rounded campaign
education.

The campaign manager/ staffer college, also known as the Colorado Republican Committee Campaign Management
College (CRC CMC) will be a three day class crafted around the Republican National Committee's campaign management
college (RNC CMC). CRC's CMC will be more Colorado specific, of course, but will be just as intense as the RNC's CMC.
Just like the CRC candidate training, the CRC campaign manager college will be taught by national and local campaign
consultants, candidates and elected officials.

Along with the candidate and campaign management trainings, the CRC will spend a great deal of time hosting
informational sessions with our County Party officials on a wide range of issues. From campaign compliance to how to
run a voter registration program in one's county. It has always been a top priority for the CRC to help its fellow
county parties, because, without them, we don't have a party. These informational sessions will be quarterly and
conducted via video/ web conferencing, also known as webinars. These webinars will give County officers the ability to
watch CRC power point presentations and presenters real time from the comfort of their own computers. This will help
in enhancing and increasing our communication efforts from the CRC and County Parties moving forward.

Our first scheduled webinar training and update will be Wednesday, March 12th at 7:00 p.m. Conclusion: In conclusion,
the CRC is eager to lead the party forward in preparation for 2010. As you pointed out at the Arapahoe Men's Club last
week, "there will be no silver bullet in taking back Colorado." Instead, we need to work on multiple fronts to take back
Colorado. If we can capitalize on all the agenda items laid out in this memo, I believe, we will be headed in the right
direction as we go into the election year. Lastly, Mr. Chairman, the CRC staff and I are looking forward to working with
you once again.

We are also very excited to begin working with our newly elected County Party officers and State Central Committee
members in taking Colorado and our country back from the tax and spend agenda of Governor Bill Ritter and President
Barack Obama!
