DTWSION INDUCTION PROGRAM FOR NEWLY-APPOINTED TEACHERS

1.

The Department of Education, Division of Ilocos Norte will conduct Induction Program
for all newly-appointed teachers on December 16 & 17,2014 at the Division Conference
Hall for the first congressional district and at San Ncolas Elementary School for the second
congressional di strict.

2.

The seminar aims to:

a. provide the newly-appointed teachers the opportunity to explore their roles, duties and
responsibilities as 21"1 century teachers
b. provide them with thorough understanding on the different issues and concerns
pertaining to teachingJeaming process.
instill on them proper discipline and good working attitude
d. update the teachers on the different strategies, methods and techniques in teaching

The participants to this induction program are

the appointed Teacher I in the division from

cY 20122014.

4.

Registration will start at 7:00 AM SHARP and opening program will follow at 7:30 AM.
Participants are then advised to come on time. No registration fee shall be collected from
the participants. All expenses such as meals and snacks and other incidental expenses shall
be taken from the division INSET Funds.

Attached is the training matrix indicating the speakers and facilitators to ensure the success

ofthe training

Immediate dissemination of the contents of this memorandum to all concemed is desired.
