General Remarks
Repair codes under Mode 45 relates to CA components only. Repairs to refrigeration unit
itself shall be performed as Mode 43.
Some of the codes listed relates to Upgrade modifications only and shall only be used by
locations involved in same. Modification codes will be blocked when all unit are complete.
For all repair jobs involving replacement of parts it is acceptable to apply the maximum
allowable time.
However, for all jobs with repair in text, the actual time consumed must apply. If the actual
time consumed should exceed the maximum allowable time, the latter shall apply.
For your guidance, repair codes with repair in text, usually refer to repair work requiring no
spare parts., trouble shooting, leak check, cleaning of components and wiring. Common to
all of these repair jobs is that they will vary in complexity and time consumption, from time
to time.
It is an important duty of the repair management, to ensure the the number of STS hours
applied against each repair job is minimized and that no conflicting STS codes are applied.
