INTRODUCTION:
SAHARA TRADING- a major concern of SAHARA
CORPORATION, has run its operation successfully since
its inception in 2011. The main aim behind entering into
this business is to contribute to the economy of
Bangladesh by importing good quality raw materials and
other necessary items which have massive demand in
our country.
Sahara Trading has been importing the following things
mainly:

COAL

MAIZ

MITBONE

DRY FISH

Since the very beginning, Sahara Trading has performed

its import operation successfully & created a significant
mark into this industry.

DETAILS OF SOME IMPORTED GOODS:

01.ESTEEMED COAL:
In Bangladesh, there is an immense demand for coal, which has an extensive use in the
production of electricity, auto bricks, fuel of esteemed engine & lot of other sectors. Many
statistical report shows that the yearly demand for coal is approximately 30,00,000 (Thirty Lac)
Metric Ton. To meet up this huge demand, we mainly import coal from India. But this year, the
import of coal from India will be reduced due to their restrictions on exporting their coal items.
Therefore, Sahara Trading is looking forward to expand its business by importing high quality of
coal from other countries, which will significantly serve the following two purpose in an
effective & efficient manner:
To meet this huge domestic demand for esteemed coal & allow smooth
production nationwide.

By importing esteemed coal, at this time, well be able to generate a solid profit
range for our company.

We usually supply esteemed coal in various brick fields located at Dhaka, Mymensingh,
Narayaganj, Chittagong, Munshiganj , Coxs Bazar, etc. Here, at each brick field the usual yearly
demand is more than a thousand Metric Tons. We have almost 50 clients who often purchase
esteemed coal from us on a regular basis. This year our initial target is to sell at least 50,000
Metric Tons of coal.
