Rationale
According to Shelton , slow learners profile may approach that of the
students with learning disabilities until a closer examination reveals that their
academic deficits are not as extreme but more in keeping on based on low average
cognitive abilities. When an learning are inherent within these individual or indeed
secondary bi products of insufficient or ineffective accommodation to the learning
needs.Most of the students have less Capability for analytical and conceptual
thinking skills they are not able to understand the concept of the lesson and they
cannot solve the certain problems in accounting subjects.
The issues involved are the low performance of the students most of
the students failed in their examinations and the most common factors affect is the
teaching approach, they do not make the subjects more knowledgeable, more
interesting and they do not possess adequate analytical and conceptual skills to the
students
A lot of researchers focused on tutorial side, and how the tutorial help
to the application of information concepts theory on the subjects and emphasized the
advantages of having tutorial and other researcher also focused on the students
outcome base on facilitating and assessment only. This research is unique because
it measures the students progress by having Dysas Tutorial.
This research is important in order to know the results on the
performance of the students through Dysas tutorial. It will help the students to
develop the learning techniques and also the learning behaviour of the students to
minimize the problem of the students regarding difficulty on understanding in
accounting subjects. According to Flanagan and Stewart 1998, increasingly
accounting academics have emphasized that learning should involve the
development of some skills useful throughout ones life,rather than the acquisition of
knowledge and skills for the purpose of passing examinations alone.
