Dr.

Hayes Wicker, Senior Pastor

Journey to the Manger
Christmas is not a man-made myth, folklore tradition, or
religious symbol. It is historys great reality God came
in the flesh to dwell among us. The simple picture of the
manger crib reminds us of the great humility of our Savior
who loved a lost world so much that He came to be born
in a barn and was later riveted to a cross. Please join us
this year as we present Journey to the Manger, a heartstirring production of the 32nd Annual Living Christmas
Trees. Of course, these are the last Trees but not the end
of Christmas Spectaculars.
Once again the music, choreography, and creative arts will revolve around a
unique, heart-warming drama. It will tell the story of a skeptic who, in dream-like
fashion, falls asleep and journeys in time to the Depression Era, Renaissance
Italy, the streets of England, and a small church in Austria. He will discover the
joy of giving and the price tag of his salvation that was paid long ago.
Under the direction of Dr. Todd Stearns, this production will include a 25+ piece
orchestra, a 110-voice adult choir on the two brightly lit trees, an angel ballet
team, stage ensemble, drama cast, and youth. This will offer a combination
of our children and student choirs: Praise Kids, Tween City CREW, AMPLIFY
Creative Arts Team, and Resonate Creative Arts Team.
Please invite your friends who do not know the Lord and provide a ticket for
them. Their eternal relationship with Christ is well worth the investment. Pray for
me that I can present the gospel clearly and concisely each evening and invite
people to respond on the Connection Card.
You can still volunteer to be on our prayer support team on any given night and/
or still share the names of unsaved friends and the night of their attendance.
Because of the manger of humility, we can approach the throne of grace.

*There is a guest reception in the Commons following the Saturday night and
Sunday morning 11:00am worship services. Pastor would love to meet you!
