All of our services can be delivered on a single project basis, via an

alliance agreement, or as a long-term contractual relationship. We can
work alongside your in-house maintenance team to help optimize your
maintenance capabilities.

Solutions in upstream
Sulzer Turbo Services has worked in some of the toughest environments in the world,
including the North Sea, Alaska and Canada. This means that we understand the
difficult operating conditions and the costs of downtime. Our experience and innovative
thinking help to ensure that we can deliver specific solutions to your needs. We keep
your equipment running in offshore (platform and FPSO), onshore, pipeline, and tar
sands applications.

We provide emergency support and planned maintenance for a range of motors and
drives, as well as turbines. Delivering tailor-made solutions that improve your operations
is our top priority. We have re-rated gas compressors for re-application in new or
existing gas fields. Changes in the gas compositions as the gas is drained make these
re-rates necessary. We help you to achieve increased throughput, longer life cycles and

and protect the environment. Turnarounds are our core business where we overhaul
turbines, compressors, motors, generators, and other rotating equipment. Inspection
work can be scheduled to fit with your turnaround plan ensuring that all work is
completed on time.

To help improve process reliability, our field service teams often provide routine
maintenance support. When a problem is identified, our shop-based engineering teams
assist the field service teams and, together, they quickly develop the optimal solution.
Where debottlenecking has taken place, our engineers can review the compressor
performance to propose and implement modifications for optimal operation. You can call
on our teams at any time around the clock.

Solutions in downstream
petrochemical industry
The requirements and much of the equipment found in the petrochemical industry are
similar to those of refineries. The rotating equipment we service has to withstand special
requirements and is, in many cases, custom built. We have extensive experience
with custom-built machinery and specialty trains in a wide range of petrochemical
applications making products from ethanol, olefins, ammonia and nitric acid, ethylene,
styrene and nitroparaffins.
