Extenuating circumstances?
During the second term of my last year in A-level, I got a lung
infection, which caused continuously evening fever and coughing.
Despite the prediction of A-level result of AAB for Mathematics,
Chemistry and Biology, I only obtained ABD. This is due to the
illness. I had to take a gap year to defer my first year in university
to be treated. The medication took up to 6 months until the
beginning of 2007 for me to be fully recovered. After learnt that
hard lesson,my effort during my undergraduate had proved my
ability and potentials with an first class honours degree and
graduated in dean's list of the department. Then I also carried on
further study for master degree in university of Cambridge.
